On the surface, it's just an orchestral arrangement of the main theme, but the deeper you dig, the more fitting it seems. Part of this arrangement has been played before, giving it a some familiarity, but this is the only scene this season it plays in full. This scene is the reveal of Pecorine's true name and background, so the main theme being titled "Lost Princess" seems to fit pretty well. This arrangement seems to match Pecorine's current dejected mood, while the normal version matches her usual bright, bubbly, optimistic self.

Ed SkyNight it’s actually highly possible since this is by Cygames. They did a second season for Granblue Fantasy, and Priconne is pretty popular in Japan. Their creator loves both so here’s hoping.

This Anime DID NOT try to tell you the whole story, If you want to know the story You are supposed to PLAY THE GAME this is an game advertisement anime. so Their main goal was to show as many characters as possible in an enjoyable setting while dropping some hints about the plot so People can play the game. And It did What It is supposed to do, This was a good, mostly light hearted and enjoyable show with very good animations and loveable characters. If you desire to learn the plot Either Play the GAME or Do not watch something like Konosuba ever again because Konosuba also doesn’t have much of a plot itself. Not All animes are have to be a plot centered

@@Tragicide Well, the price of her magic is burning calories at a frightful rate, and supposedly that's fine with Peccorine because she enjoys eating anyway (unless starvation swiftly sets in because she can't get to food for some reason). Still, this scene does make you wonder how much of that eating is truly from enjoyment, or whether at least some of her chowing down is really for anesthetizing Peccorine's hidden pain.

@@AstaIsAMonster Oh okay. Honestly I'm not 100% sure but from seeing the whole scene before this it seems to be a combination of things. !SPOILER WARNING! Short version: I think she doesn't want to lose her connections she made after losing so much before. Long version: I think the biggest part of it is that she is worried the other 2 members of her guild (Karyl and Yuuki) won't accept her for being the true princess of Landsol, Eustiana von Astraea. Karyl went away too, making her feel worse. I think she is worried about losing her connections with the them, like a repeat of what happened before. What happened before (and why I think she's also upset) is because her throne as princess was stolen from her by Kaiser Insight/Mana Senri, her parents had their minds altered so they saw Mana as Eustiana and didn't know who their real daughter was. That didn't happen only to her parents, but everyone who knew of her, in the Kingdom of Landsol and even outside of it.
