Try car washer window cleaner on your windows. It doesn’t streak like other cleaners. If you wipe the inside up and down and the outside back and forth you can tell which side if the window is still dirty.

The soda stream takes up very little room. I drink it plain because I prefer that but adding flavor is no harder than adding stuff to your coffee. Just have a bunch of bottles carbonated in the fridge. My cartridges last a long time. One of my absolute favorite appliances.

I bought 2 sets of white Corelle in 1996 and was able to get extra plates, bowls, etc. I used them even for special event dining room dinners and holidays because they are great looking. Several students who lived with us during college as well as our three and their friends so I needed enough for at least 20. The dishes have endured and I've moved them over to my son's lake house he is restoring so they will be of great use there. What a great investment! The older Corelle rarely broke and never chipped so they have changed something along the way.

Corelle for the Win! I grew up with them and have had my own for over 40 years! Day in and day out. Every few years they come out with a new shape or size and I have added to my collection. In all that time I believe I have only broken 3 pieces, all dinner plates and they all landed on the edge. You are right, when they do break they splinter and shatter and you have shards everywhere. However, most of the time, they just 'bounce' and survive.

I love those reusable bags! I use them almost exclusively now. One suggestion is if you are going to put something strongly scented in one, write what it was in permanent marker so you can use it for that sort of thing again (like onions or garlic). They do stain, and they do absorb strong odors. I have three that are ONLY for pizza leftovers because they are stained lol.
@marroosh
@marroosh 20 сағат бұрын
Do you use them for raw meats too? Do they clean up well after using them for raw meats? I’d like to use reusable bags but I use them really only for that purpose, but worried these bags might not clean up well enough for that.

Hi Chelsea! I sure wish I had a Costco near me. We have a Sam's Club, but the nearest Costco is about 45 mins. away, so I will keep using Sam's. I have Correlle Dinnerware also. About 3 years ago I boxed up all of my dishes and donated them, then went and bought Correlle. They are so much lighter, and as I have aged it was getting harder to handle the old ones. I bought enough for a service of 12, and I love them.

I am planning on growing tomatoes and bell peppers in 5 gallon buckets this year. I want enough tomatoes to make into tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. The bell peppers I plan on dicing and cutting in strips to freeze. Of course, I'll use the tomatoes and peppers during the summer to eat.

Living in Toronto we get every cultural food you could possibly want. Loving Asian food I think I've got the best home made spring roll receipe ever - actually making them tomorrow for a superbowl party. Here it is.... Step#1. TYJ Spring Roll Pastry - or any other brand is fine. Keep it in the freezer and pull a package out as you need it - I use the large ones. Step# 2. Using a mandolin slicer - Julienne... 3C - White Cabbage 1C - Carrot 1C - rehydrated woodear (aka black fungus) mushrooms. ( find them at an Asian market) 1C - bean sprouts 1C - green onion Cook these ingredients until just tender (still have crunch) then add to the veggie mix the following sauces combined in a bowl - 2Tbs of each (Soya Sauce, Dark Soya Sauce and Oyster Sauce) plus 1tsp of Sugar. Mix well - Then place veggie mix into a strainer so any extra liquid drains out... set aside until cool. Step #3. get your rice vermicelli noodles soaked in hot water - strain and set aside. Cut into smaller pieces. Step#4. If you want a meat version add this... 2C - pork sausage 1C - shrimp Chop up fine and combine with ginger 3Tbs minced/grated and 3Tbs Sesame Seed oil plus a bit of salt. Step#5. Get your wrappers out and thaw, once you open the package use them... plus keep them covered with a damp towel in between filling/ rolling so they dont dry out. - 2 Sheets per roll (trust me - so crispy so good!!!). - take a heaping Tbs of meat mix smear across the wrapper, cover with some noodle and then veggie mix... roll it up and seal the spring roll with a flour and water slurry. Meat will cook in the deep frying process. Step#6. Once your oil is hot deep fry, make sure its deep enough so spring rolls dont touch the bottom and can float - cook until golden. Remove set aside on strainer rack... keep on rolling and add the next batch - this is a perfect job for 2 people. One person rolls, one person fry's. Any KZbin video will teach you how to roll'em up.... And Voila the best spring roll you'll ever have. I serve it with Thai spring roll sauce... buy a couple bottles in costco to keep on the shelf, great to have around when making any asian food. This will make around 30 spring rolls.

I make a great dip for your kettle chips that is so good. In the blender blend one 16 0z container of cottage cheese, add to that 16 0z plain Greek yogurt, then add Everything but the Bagel seasoning. I make my own seasoning in a big batch. It's like French onion dip and it's so good as a dip for chips or veggies. Great video, I just spent 455.00 at Costco and thought that was pretty bad!

I had to giggle about the mason jars that have the lids come off if you pick them up by the lid. I learned that lesson the hard way... Unboxing the jars and pulled the biggest one up and out by the lid ... It stayed attached until the moment i got it put of the box then bottom fell off and proceeded to shatter all over my hardwood floor. To say i stood there is shock was an understatement lol such a mess!! Im so glad there are new ones that seal securely, ill have to go look for them on my next shopping trip

I also didn't like the texture of the mixed nut butter but liked the extra nutritional; so I just put it through my food processor (added a bit more oil) and blended the heck out of it until smooth! I love my corelle!! My Daddy got each of us kids a set when we moved out on our own (1980's) . I still have all but one piece of it!❤ over the years; I'd buy more as my family grew. I gave my daughter some from the original set and bought her a set when she moved out.

You can get the dishes in singles at Walmart. We exclusively use those same white ones and we buy the big bowls on their own. Last time we got some they were I think around 7 bucks each in Nova Scotia.

Fyi, we got my son a CO2 canister and kit for making your own fizzy drinks and it was fun and it works for a few months but the convenience of just buying the drinks already ready to go certainly is very nice and after several months he stopped using the CO2 tank and unfortunately it is just sitting in his room. You can get the liquid even fizzier or filled with carbonation if the drink is pretty cold so you have to anticipate and do.all this work ahead of time. It has to be in the correct bottle, it can't shoot the carbonation into just any container. So all this to say is it's really not convenient at all and I agree with Dan just wanting the drink and grabbing it versus the machine.

Maybe It will make you feel better to know we have to travel even a tiny bit farther to Costco. We live in rural central Nebraska and travel 3.5 hours one way to our Costco.

I store my dates in the freezer and eat them straight out of the freezer. Really good.

Use the nut butter for making granola bars! I usually just add ground flax and chia seeds to my peanut butter/honey mixture anyways

I don't know if your Costco has an optical center, but we got a good deal on eyeglasses this year. And I think they're better quality than some really discount online places.

Hello from NB! I don't remember when EVOO was that cheap...I believe it's around $28 for 2 bottles on this side of the country....$17 in BC? I can't imagine there'd be that much of a price difference but if so, good for you!!
