omg Tocade! Thank you so much! I remember as a kid 'stealing' the sample my mother had. Smelled so nice. But a few months ago I talked about the bottle and the 2 colored cap with red triangle on top because I forgot it's name and she looked at me like I was coming from Mars. Was amazing in the 90s.

Thank you for reminding of Byzance. I wore that perfume when it first came out back in the late 80s. Loved it! I see they change the cap to gold. The original one was blue like the rest of the bottle and it also had a fuchsia ribbon. I will need to check it out but I’m afraid it will not smell the way it used to.

I recently picked up a bottle of Tocade as a back up bottle, as I have my mums original bottle from many years ago and don’t want to be with a scent that reminds me of her. Your video just made me spray the newer bottle to see how they differ. To me the newer formula is more fresh/citrusy than the original. If you can find an original bottle I’d say buy it as it’s gorgeous. Both are lovely ,but, the original is my favourite. X

I got the madam couture yesterday I didn’t like it at first but I sprayed more on my pajamas last night and it stayed til this morning. I am waiting on my next delivery which has byzance in it and I can’t wait to try that one. I also found one called Bob Mackie Rosy for 8 dollars on fragrance net. I’ve never heard of rosy but I have had the original Bob mackie in the past which I liked so hopefully rosy is a good one too. For 8 bucks I couldn’t pass it up.

Omg! I bought la tentasion from Nina Ricci many years ago. It was supposed to be a collab with Laduree and smell like a Laduree raspberry macaron. It was all sour grapefruit on me and I swapped it away. It was $100 at the time. Ugh!

Fabulous Me sounds fascinating! Interested to hear how it wears in cooler weather. Have you tried Etat Libre d'Orange Like This? It's pumpkin, ginger, immortelle, and rose. I always crave it in the fall.

The Rochas Byzance is a nice perfume but it does not smell like the first Byzance .Ik don't know why they give the parfume this name .If you have a chance to try the Byzance EDT 2017 you smell a real big difference

I’ve always been curious about the vintage madam rochas! I heard it’s similar to Gucci no 1 that’s been discontinued for years. I wore Gucci no 1 in the late 80’s and have always searched for a replacement! Both are guy Laroche perfumes I think

Hi Sadie! None of the others in the line are as good as the original. They are all poor performers except for Fancy Love but it’s not super strong or dense and smells like Burberry. I hope that helps! ❤️
