I’m not sure but I think the Clinique ones may have been reformulated because they went out of stock/discontinued at Ulta for a long time then just popped back up. And they smell a bit different than before. So I’m not surprised you find it kinda watered down.

I heard that Rihanna Rogue is a dupe of Coco Mademoiselle and since you have talked about that one so much you should know if that is true right LOL. I am going to get myself Coco mademoiselle as soon as I am able. I have wanted it forever. I am also thinking about buying Armaf Club de nuit as that is supposed to be a dupe and some say even smells better. Have you tried that one?

Club de Nuit is a decent dupe for Coco Mademoiselle! I have it and I enjoy it. Rouge is not related at all but it is similar to a Botega Venetta one and a bit similar to Gucci Rush because of the Suede note .

@@CarmenScentrix Thanks for responding and it's funny you mentioned Gucci Rush because Coco Mademoiselle reminds me of that fragrance LOL. That is another one that I wanted really bad when it came out. They both smell peppery and refreshing to me. I guess it could just be my sense of smell. I will most likely get the Club de Nuit and look into Rogue some more although leather and suede smells aren't really appealing to me lol. I guess I could start with that tiny little bottle LOL. My nose is definitely cheap! I think it's the simplicity and uncomplicated vibes I prefer. I don't need the complexity on a day to day basis. I like a good old basic perfume.

I also hold on to perfumes forever and finally get around to opening them. 🤣👏 I also love Tobacco & Tonka Bean! To be honest, when I got the chance to smell Initio perfumes in store I wasn’t impressed. But I feel that way very often when the tester bottles have been open for a long time. I feel like the quality goes down after a while because of the amount of people using it, Cap on/off, or simply it starts to go bad faster. I can’t say it was because I had smelled too many perfumes.

Carmen, dear Carmen, you know what? Sometimes the stream gets rocky, but you just have to float along bumps included... it is part of the stream, our path... Hi, I pickup th chemical smell too. I thought it was just me, until I heard you talking about it. I also can’t stand patoulii. It took me a while 2 figure out what that smell was that was ruining th perfume 4 me!!!

@@kara8911 the more restrictions I have the harder it is for me to stop buying. It kind of keeps me obsessed. I distracted myself with other things I'm not obsessed with. So I just tried to focus on trying new recipes, nails, skincare, makeup, selling perfume, youtube and a side gig. I have to distract myself.

It was so bad! I lost of one of the glass pieces because it went flying in the air. I appreciate my vision so much more now!! Lol. I was alone with my kids so it was a struggle. People with good vision could never understand the struggle. It's devastating to not be able to see.

@@CarmenScentrix I’m done with Mercury Retrograde since before it happened. So not feeling the vibe. I hear you on not buying like a lunatic. I broke my no buy. I found a perfume that’s being discontinued in the smaller size on a SUPER great sale price in stores. It was the last bottle and I had to have it. It’s Tom Ford Velvet Orchid 30ml. They’re only going to make 50ml and 100ml, which the 100ml will be going for $225. The 30ml was on sale for $58, which now all 30mls (if they make them) are $115. I think even the smaller bottle of Black Orchid is discontinued. I personally prefer Velvet Orchid and I don’t need a bigger bottle so I said “Challenge Accepted!” and I scored! I saw that Philosophy is on sale at Ulta, the gift set of Warm Cashmere is under $40 which includes the larger bottle AND the smaller bottle. That’s a better deal than buying just the larger bottle. And I’m sitting here like do you really need more perfume? 🤦‍♀️ So much for having self control. And I got Cherry Ambition on sale too. I need to hibernate and ignore, ignore, ignore all beauty apps. That should be on my New Year’s resolution list. I think this year you started out with a New Year’s resolution of no buy with Rose and me as well, right? Are you doing another one of those?

@@CarmenScentrix Yeah I gotta do a low or no buy for real in 2024. I think I did better with perfume shopping this year than last year though. I don’t recall buying any at full price this year, but last year I sure did. I pulled out my samples too so they are more easily accessible. I have to find a way to store them somehow that’s better than what I have going on now. I’m realizing that some are starting to expire from having them so long. Another fun fact is that samples can’t last as long as perfume in bottles because they are not sealed airtight like perfume bottles.
