I just read the patchnotes and they made Obi Wan‘s Mind Trick useless If it doesn’t block dodges it won’t help much against some other heroes (especially palpatine) It would be fine if they would make it so that you for example can only be affected by one mind trick at a time (because Kenobis and Reys together can be a real pain in the butt)

Obi-Wan is basically useless now, his mind trick was the best thing going for him and the only way to counter players that block whore all day in HvV. Vader and Grievous especially will be unkillable, Obi-Wan was the only one that stood a chance against him.

Lee Everett He is in no way useless. He’s one of my favorite heroes, and I only use his mind trick when I have to. Sure, it’s quite a nerf for the Jedi Master, but he has many other qualities that make him a great and fun hero to play. I think it just makes more balanced in the long run because (as Bazaar mentioned) it was one of the most powerful abilities in the game. For me personally, the pro’s of not having to deal with it as a villain far outway the con’s of not having it as a hero.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about bothan spies and why they didn’t make them instead. I personally believe next year after March they will be giving us bothan spies, another imperial counter part (possibly shadow trooper with invisibility ability?) and maybe even 2+ more reinforcements (possibly a shock trooper heavy gunner, and rebel pilot?) all for the original era along side Capital supremacy and Co-Op for OG era. I could of course be wrong. But I think OG era content update will be happening after they give us a update revolving around clone wars season 7 in February-March.

Yeah , i agree. Maybe Rebel Smuggler with some shotgun like weapon would be pretty uniqe, and Dark Trooper from Dark Forces II with TL-50? Or Mandalorian mercenaries from The Mandalorian, i'd like to see content which involves that awesome series too!

BMSpammer battlefront 2 at its core is a shooter but the mechanics and how it works are way different and more open. Having a bunch of heroes with freezes/pulls/pushes/knockdowns/stuns, etc. are bad mechanics for a shooter game too... yet almost every hero has some kind of knock down.. I think if they’re gunna make a decoy grenade for the spies, the imperials should get a unique reinforcement (shadow troopers) with invisibility Look up battlefront 2015 shadow trooper invisibility, they aren’t really invisible, more so just camouflaged. Also for balancing they could make you not regain health while invisible, and once you shoot you aren’t invisible.

@@thepaultato3243 Yeah, if you ever played TFU 1, there are the original shadow troopers. They can go invisible for a few seconds or when they stand still. DICE should use that mechanics in BF2 too!

Now good Vader and Grievous players will be unstoppable in HvV as the mind trick was then best way to counter them. If they wanted to nerf his ability, they should have just increased the cooldown or decreased the ability time altogether FFS. Terrible decision.

I'm a good player, but too many times I lose duels because of cancerous players that just block and dodge all day without ever taking risks or even striking at me. This is especially true with Vader players who just block, saber throw, and block some more until their choke is available. Obi was the best hero to be able to prevent that and actually get behind them. I'm cool with a compromise as in soldier units and blaster heroes can still dodge, but it nullifies the dodge for lightsaber heroes. Agree or still disagree?

I don't agree with the update that shows how many players an ability will affect. Nor the update to Vader's choke, but I think they're taking that out. Idk it just feels like they're trying to make the game easier- and not in a good way. Part of the game is understanding a hero's range and capabilities; to eliminate that aspect just seems lame.
