These guys made the Division 2 which is the industry standard for cover based shooting. So why can't Kay lock into cover for combat or stealth? Almost all the combat footage I've seen, players just duck or move behind cover but dont seem to actually take cover.

I was already thinking of pre-ordering Outlaws, and this gives me more incentive. Stealth is something I love doing in the PS Spider-Man games, so the emphasis on stealth in Outlaws intrigues me. AI enemies are a big part of single player games/modes, to me. If I want a breeze, let me have a breeze. If I want a challenge, give me a challenge. I'm certain there'll be difficulty levels. Planning an elaborate attack & playing it out is exhilarating to me, whether it pans out or not. A Free-Roam, Open World SW game is something I've been longing for! The SW Jedi Games have scratched that itch, but I guess I want more. Like a SW Genshin Impact, basically. I'm someone who prefers taking their time with a game, playing side missions & mini-games, exploring everything possible, unlocking everything possible, and being MAX stats at the end/final boss battle, if possible. Also, when I'm engulfed in a game, I fall into a trance, playing for 5-8+ hours. So, Outlaws sounds like my mug of super sweet coffee. Hey, we don't know all the facts. Kay may have some metal knuckles or be pumpin' at the gym. After some quick research, $130 Ultimate Edition is too much for not enough reward, to me. The Gold Edition from Amazon however, I'm in. Thanks for making this video! Gave me some good insight.

The protagonist’s face is very large and angular and she has big eyes so for immersion I’ll be imagining she’s a very human-like alien who’s much, much stronger than a human and that’s why she can punch men in the helmet (har-har) and knock them out. But seriously I used to work in security and you will not be able to knock out anyone in a motorcycle helmet EVEN with a metal baton. If you beat them over and over and over you’ll crack and start to break the helmet but you won’t knock them out. You could smash the visor and break their nose/eye sockets or damage/destroy an eye but that would need to be a careful shot and you still probably wouldn’t do it in a single blow so even Rebels is nonsense. (Unless stormtrooper helmets are super pathetic in canon🤓)

I like the combat and the environments, I do not like forced stealth. I would prefer missions not failing if you failed at stealth but escalate into a much harder combat situation. Like The Bat Man games or some AC games. Plus Ubisoft’s horrendous “bonus content “ is the main reason why I will not buy this.

I think they nailed the environment/open world. They failed with the character, the uglifying of Kay, the bullet sponge enemies, the forced stealth with nix, and the one hit melees are dumb, she isn’t a god. She should have a baton. I think the main character should’ve been Han and Chewbacca, Lando, or Hondo Ohnaka like you said. Kay’s character is a complete waste of potential. Should’ve been a guy from Starwars or new guy character like how Cal Kestis is. The Jedi games are amazing. This game will flop big time!

i like the review my only problem is the pricing on top of the leaked cash shop stuff that was shown on a few discords. also the way the character looks. As a woman it's insulting to me. I don't care about the character means i'll never spend money on the game and even if i got it for free i wouldn't invest in a character I don't like. When the devs of all these games understand that will be the day they get more of what they really want from us - money. I won't be playing this though until i see some technical ability to mod the game on pc like I do with most all pc games and put in my own character model. I do it often and am probably better at it than most professional devs.
