I've work down under in the mid 90's on offshore oil drilling rigs in WA. I've seen them biggies in some location i was in. The fear i had of these biggies is my biggest concern whenever traveling on fixed wings to/from the rig. I guess even with life jackets on if your in their territory these biggies will churn you out in big chunks. Enjoy the fun.

Also how crazy immigrants from Haiti and other countries such as Cuba travel through waters with so many sharks that are desperate for food and eat anything. Human trafficking through trucks and vans to get to USA is nothing compared to miles and miles of ocean floating with no food or water.

I was fishing off the coast of MD and had caught a 7 or 8 foot blue shark and had a big Maco do the same thing. Sharks feed in order of size, and he was not happy that small shark went before him. We hooked the Maco up, and after a half dozen jumps broke him off. Amazing creatures, they're not the mindless killers people think, and can sometimes be quite picky as far as feeding.
