If you're playing in an invite or friends only session, you should not have to deal with the idle remove timer. That should only be on public servers

I’d prefer an increase to the timer for private sessions. The timer itself is in place to help keep public lobbies active but it’s also to reduce unnecessary load on the servers with players just AFKing.

There's also another gamebreaking bug involving custom license plates. If you have more than 15 plates and scroll past that amount, you'll be softlocked.

I faced the same problem yesterday, was customizing the Omaggio and it kept softlocking on the plates, had to find new session like 5 times, even restarted my console and it still kept doing that, I thought I was the only one with this glitch.

Ye its because they massively sped up the loading times into a Job and prevented you from going into the clouds and to the marker, which is how the glitch worked. However, the RC Bandito teleport glitch still works and ironically, because of this change, it is even better now because of the sped up loading times.

@@marius2361 1. I am on PC 2. I am not using a controller to be able to switch the targeting mode on PC 3. I have no friends left that play this dead shit game So yeah, that method wont work. As for the other one, i’m probably assuming you mean teleporting via jobs in the pause menu, to which ill say, yes could work but you probably wont have a lot of control of where you teleport.

The BMX Bike can also now bunny hop a bit higher, and seems to be a little floatier in the air too. You can effortlessly clear fences. The Scorcher and Inductor seem to now jump as high as the BMX used to, too.

@@derpyderp6719 Unless they also modified the landing physics specifically to compensate and keep the exploit viable, that can't be the case. It's frame-rate dependent so it'll be faster if you've recently updated to next gen but otherwise, it must just SEEM faster. An object moving through the air is constantly losing momentum to wind resistance. An object begins to fall when the downward force of gravity exceeds its forward velocity... so when it hits the ground, it's moving downward more quickly than it's moving forward. So when a car lands after a jump, it tends to just stop which is why we use landing ramps in the real world... to transfer downward momentum forward. In the interest of fun, GTA cheats physics to ensure that you keep driving after you land. The instant your wheels touch the ground, it adds a percentage of your total momentum to your forward momentum. Sometimes when you crash a motorcycle, that effect is what causes the bike to launch a mile away. That's the effect that causes the bunny hop glitch to work. All objects lose momentum while moving through the air, and the BMX loses even more momentum when rolling on the ground... so the only part that makes you go faster is the instant your wheel touches the ground... being in the air and touching the ground slows you down. Having a higher bunny hop means that you spend more time in the air, which means that you spend more time slowing down and have less opportunities to speed up. From what I understand about the physics engine, the BMX is the single fastest object in the game, and this change shouldn't change the top speed over an infinite distance but it will decrease the rate of acceleration which means that you can't reach as high of a speed before running out of map to travel along. It will ultimately increase travel time because you will reach your destination before reaching top speed

​@@SeekerGoldstone A lot more in depth than I was expecting honestly. I am however fully aware it might just feel faster, so I tried to not talk in absolutes. From all the time I've spent bunny hopping in this game, some amount of the speed is gained from the initial moment of the jump, as there is forward momentum that carries it to keep it at speed. The floaty feeling might also be part of my imagination as well, so if it indeed is... The thing that is really keeping it in the air longer is a greater force in the forward bunny hops. If there is a greater force in the hops; even if the most of the speed comes from front wheel contact with the ground, that means my observation about a greater acceleration is very much possible. If the maximum speed you can reach with forward bunny hops alone is greater, it will likely take less time, and potentially less hops to get to the top speed allowed by imperfect inputs. Not only that, but when near top speed, the jumps start to get shorter, and trade height for even more forward momentum like it used to before the update.

Enemy NPC like Merryweather have been buffed with more awareness and traction during car chases. I noticed this yesterday while driving back to my agency to complete a security contract. Also during a bunker sell, they crash into my sell insurgent with much more precision at high speed now than before The Chop Shop update. Not game breaking for me but noticable.

Merryweather are some of the strongest enemies in the game, that's gonna be really hard. They have "burst aimbot" where they unload multiple shots into your head even if you're peeking just a little.

He Made a video about this issue. Try changing ammo types of your mk2 weapons a few times, Always keep regular ammo maxed out when you do. After a few tries, I got it to remain now (for sniper ammo).

Many other AFK Methods are also nerfed. You can't stay in the LSCM Test ride menu completely afk anymore, you have to have something prop your controller to make the menu change selection. And that's just one of the methods.

For some reason, you can't job warp during the new chop shop robbery setups using the quick join trick. Attempting to do so just ends the mission like you never started it. All the other free mode missions in the game are unaffected.

Other thing they broke is the interaction menu, most of the time for me it won't work in interiors anymore and can bug and still not work outside of them. Also had a fun bug where I couldn't exit the nightclub because the corona was missing and the interaction menu was bugged. Also on male pilot headsets when entering aircraft still breaks a one piece outfit (supposedly they blacklisted a component when they blacklisted checkered stuff)

Another sound issue: If you're playing on PS5 with Dolby Atmos as your sound mode, you get no ingame sound, but all the menu sounds still work. I had to set it to Dolby Audio and restart the game to hear sound again

Well when in a invite only session you can just change your spawn location to where you wanna go and change sessions to another invite to be closer to were u wanna go. I do it all the time. Either need half way across the city or jump to paleo works and isn't a glitch so its perfect!

If you have many license plates for cars going too far down the list or flipping up to get to the last plate causes a glitch where you see a locked camera view of your car from a non-standard angle. the LSC menu disappear and the game stops responding to inputs but the game otherwise continues rendering like normally. 'esc' works to access the pause menu where you then have to switch session to escape. I have 33 plates in the list can no longer access most of them. The new E-cola and sprunk vanity plates must've broken something.

i absolutely hate the AFK camera patch. but, I found out you can circumvent it by putting a rubber band around your controller joystick WHILE in the camera. in regards to the F-35, i used to just fly above the clouds so nobody could see/hear me while using the jet. this is pretty exciting news for me 😅

With all the modders on PC, it was a good way to get you soft locked anyway. It was only ever reliable in a session by yourself. This will suck for if I get stuck high on the mountains without a car...

@@derpyderp6719 The problem is that if job warping in a full session doesn't work, that means that infinite black loading screen is next. Because you can't syncronize with the "script host", which is the player in charge of events and loading in the lobby. Often times it's not even mods, it's just that the SH internet is really bad.

They broke the Casino heist power drill prep mission. No matter how many times you have delivered the drills to the arcade,it just wont be recognized as completed. So you will be forced to purchase the power drill or just to skip it.

Oh boy, I remember I did use to send in-game emails back in the day when whatever I wanted to tell to players was longer than what was allowed to type in phone SMS and they weren't attending PS messages. It was a useful tool sometimes.

It looks like the when using your parachute it now uses the color scheme of the parachute (Junk Energy bag uses those colors) you have on instead of using the rainbow scheme it would always default too.

For AFKing I do it in the LS car meet. I just enter the meet and bring up my mini-menu (m) and have an object on the up arrow key. Started doing this since I realised that parking on the exit ramp from the test track no longer gave rep.

Not sure if anyone knows or cares, but with the new tow jobs, you cannot use a cargobob to retrieve the vehicles to bring to your tow truck. You have to drive the tow truck to the location to progress the mission. Hopefully that makes sense

I've also noticed with the auto shop vehicle sales, you used to be able to session hop if u dented ur ride and reload and try again for full value, now if you do that your car you went sell is gone 😒

On occasion, I would enter the Nightclub and there would be no music in the office. But the music is there, on the dance floor like it should. Like actual sound proofing. That doesn't happen 100% of the time, but I wish it did.

You also can't use the interactive menu in the night club... you can't leave. Can only leave if u have a car in that slot..

Due to the new interaction menu, if you swap DJs in your nightclub, you're stuck inside. Interaction menu doesn't work AND even trying to exit doesn't work either as exiting the club requires an interaction menu.

Did they nerf the savage cannon range? It's been a while since I played and after trying to use the savage to do the new scrap shop mission where you destroy the gas masks I swear I have to sniff the ground with the savage to hit anything with the cannons now.

As a Savage user, myself, I have not seen any difference to the cannon. Keep in mind I was using it for regular grinding/Perico Heist, not the Chop Shop missions

they put EWO in the pause menu for those instances where you get stuck or frozen in a loading screen or something, sometimes you can still go to the pause menu, so you can just switch sessions instead of leaving the game.
