Rockstar didnt work on the fixes. VGD team did. They worked on LA Noire VR. Plus they announced this working on other ports after Netflix version release.

It's honestly so much better. It's crazy how much the classic lighting brings back the soul to the game. Nostalgia or not there's just a. Charm and vibrance to the old art style and the game feels so much more enjoyable. The aiming feels better and less wonky. Much of the atrocious ai typos and nonsense has been fixed. I'm finding the game enjoyable now for the first time

It would be cool if Rockstar introduced the ability to ride motorcycles and pilot some aircraft in GTA 3 and be able to swim in both 3 and Vice City in future patches. It can definitely be done.

They should add that in GTA3. What if players found bikes but police spot them and you get a wanted level (lore reasons). And flying helicopters would be a nice addition. And to swim, they could add a feature where you can swim and just press a button to get back on land like on Saints row, and to also climb similar to SA. I also think GTA3 needs to have players jump out of moving vehicles.

I can see what you're saying SA and III first correctly but with VC being a somewhat bright game and since its the 80s it can with with both modes but some may prefer non classic

Something people seem to not be talking about is the fact that they fixed the green shades in San Andreas this had me immensely annoyed that GSG logic is green = blue

so that means the uzi will be the best early run and gun weapon in vice city now (not the mac 10 since its rate of fire got nerfed after the original games). you could use a m4 early on but i think the uzi having its unchanged fire rate is pretty powerful id go with that if anyone is going to beat the game again.

This is what happens when Rockstar gives the project to a competent studio instead of a studio known for mobile ports. This still needs some work but it's definitely way better than the previous version. I hope they are not done working on it.

I don't buy that. Grove Street Games has made competent ports before, when given enough time, look at ARK Survival on switch, for example. This is the fault of the publisher take two. They are the ones who rushed this port job out to coincide with GTA III's anniversary

GSG for sure needed more time and if they did the release would have been way different however in their case when it was time for release I think they already knew the problems that would soon follow VGD is now working on it

To be fair, I am changing between classic lighting on and off conastantly, Vice City is definitely better without it, volumetric clouds and sky colors make all the difference. But in San Andreas, sometimes the piss filter is too much...

Im just glad grove street games got taken off the game completely. They fucked this remaster up royally. im glad rockstar fixed most of the bugs and issues even on nintendo switch the games look great now.

I hope for this too. Don't get me wrong, this update is very good but there are still LOD and collision issues in certain places and probably some other smaller bugs that I'm not aware of. But either way this is definitely a huge improvement.

Grove Street games actually fixed it. Rockstar games waited 2 years to release the patch before they ditched Grove Street games.

Grove street games worked on bugs they put in the game in the first place. At the end of the day if GSG even did fix them officially Video Games Deluxe are the ones that released the patch with Rockstar.

There just missing the old 90s filter layer.... thats just old school lighting update But i feel like Rockstar should through in Rage 4 engine same as GTA 4 engine I seen a mod for it it look and fits better

There should be a toggle to switch between classic (PS2) or modern way (GTA4 and GTA5). Unless you mean having the DE trilogy have GTA5 features?

@solidmage1720 no I mean controls. Movement, shooting, driving mechanics etc. Also the camera keeps turning back while looking to the sides while driving etc. They should fix that.
