Just an idea- you can store seasonal clothing (like your pretty red dress) with your seasonal decorations. That way when you decorate next year you’ll pull it out and remember it! Love your series- I have twins too and you motivate me to stay on top of it.

I have truly found that decluttering a closet and finding your style is truly a journey. I have learned that a full closet is a sign that "it is time". There should always be space so the clothes can breathe and we can see our outfits. So hard to obtain. I will say I have gotten better at getting out of the fast fashion and sticking with basics that I can layer. Pinterest is a great place to find your style. Create a board and use that as a way to determine what you need to fill the gaps.

Hi Mai! My favorite fashion KZbinr is Justine Leconte. She is a French fashion designer and has lots of videos on how to find which clothes look good on certain body types and skin colors. She has really helped me over the years find clothes that help me look my best and I absolutely recommend her for fashion advice!

Thrift stores are a great way to add new pieces! I know which brands I like & that fit well. It save me alot of money (especially when it's still in very good shape)

I just recently did this but I forced myself to try everything on. It made me purge a lot more because it’s amazing to see how your style can change just within a year! I recommend doing that. Also for shorter dresses, bike shorts are amazing!

As a woman that is 5'9" and has been since middle school, I have never been able to buy body suits or jumpers that fit comfortably. Some people have told me if I buy higher end brands that the sizes vary more and its easier to find longer items but I just decided its not my style to wear any clothing of that nature. 😂

I’m only 5’6” but have a longer than normal torso. Last year I purchased my first one piece bathing suit. I was able to find long torso suits at Target and a number of other places. Reasonably priced and good quality.

Just a note to everyone.... your local hospital usually accepts WEDDING DRESSES as a donation, then they make them into dresses for stillborns. And dress the girls (different clothes are made for the boys). Our hospital did this for us back in 2018 when our daughter was stillborn. I still have the beautiful dress my little Olivia wore. I donated my wedding dress some a few mamas could have a beautiful dress for their babies. If you are wanting to get rid of your dress this is an awesome option to look into 💕

Wonderful video! I think decluttering in the New Year is now a tradition for a lot of households! Keep up the good work! My fav places to find new clothing are thrift stores. In finding inspiration for nice dresses, keep in mind of the season or if it can be a transitional look. Don’t buy clothing based on a “special occasion”. As 5’4” height myself and in the 30 year old bracket, look for dresses that are knee length or maybe 2 inches lower. It will make you look more sophisticated. Another good tip is can this dress also incorporate your other clothes in your closet as well? I.E. Throw on the jean jacket on top of your dress.

Love this series! Instead of going straight to goodwill, you should check to see if your area has a Dress for Success Program or a Women’s Shelter as business casual clothes can go to a good cause as women get back on their feet!

Hey, you could have had some pieces altered. Like the blue dress, just take some fabric off the sides. Or the body tanktop, just cut off the lower part and hem it. It's super cheap to do that.

Love these videos. They inspired me to start tackling pieces of my house and it’s been such a weight off my shoulders to declutter. So far I’ve done my closet, my shoes, our bathroom cabinet, linen closet and our attic storage.
