I especially loved this video. It's great when you talk the whole time because it feels like I'm hanging with a friend while I clean and do dishes 😊

I just moved house last week and as we removed the hundredth bag of not really necessary items I realised I’d been in denial about how unhealthy our attachment to stuff is. I’m always decluttering but we had so many bits of rubbish items I didn’t need, from decor to extra “in case” clothes…. I’ve got 6 large bags in the car already for donations and I’m sure I’ll be adding more this week

I just found your channel. I am SUPER PICKY about who I subscribe 2. I love cleaning/decluttering and love when it's mostly talking through it all because as I'm listening/watching I AM also cleaning/decluttering and don't like the channel's with alot of music because it's most likely not music I care for so It doesn't work for me. I found your style PERFECT for me! You have the right balance for me. Also, please do more cleaning with me/your day vlogs. Thank you for having a perfect channel that fits my style:)))

Since you have the wall space in your closet, a hanging jewelry organizer might work better for you. There are many different styles from completely enclosed ones to filigree type ones that have hooks for necklaces/bracelets and you hook your earrings into them. THey'll keep your jewelry from getting tangled, you can see at a glance what you have, and nothing will get lost in the clutter of a jewelry box

I consider a declutter successful when the declutter clutter is out of the house. Not stashed in a closet or in the garage but out of the house as off the property. I used to declutter but usually didn’t get around to selling, donating or throwing away😟. So, now a successful declutter is clutter no longer in the home. You had some good pointers for declutter. New subscriber.

Amazing job! And great to have a goal number to work towards, I want to do that too! Though, strainers?? How do you need more than one strainer? When it is strained you just pour the contents back into the pot it came from, voilà, strainer ready to use again. Like, I'm genuinely wondering.

Hey Mai! It might be too late at this point, but don’t throw away jewelry just because the hooks are bad!! You can still donate them because people can just buy new earring hooks in bulk-like 30 or 40 for just a few bucks-and switch out the old ones. All they need are pliers. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve replaced my own hooks, it makes them like new!

I personally don't have a spending envelope in my budget for this reason. If I really need something I have to actually budget for it. This way clutter stays outside my house. So wasteful to just buy stuff instead of experiences. Great video 👍

Where did you get the single measuring spoon that did the separate measurements? That is a very good idea.
@emmapurcell2112 жыл бұрын
You can hang all your clothes so the hook is facing the opposite direction (if that makes sense). After you wear an item, hang it back up in the normal direction. Then after a year, you can see what you didn’t wear because the hanger will still be facing the opposite direction.
