The problem is the educational establishment refuses to create schools to train workers. Also, corporations don’t want to pay workers.
@jasonlewis5350
@jasonlewis5350 Ай бұрын
It’s not training leaders either. It trains people to think they’re special and only gives them enough information to get their foot in the door. It doesn’t teach them two key elements of success - 1. Stand out from the others 2. Elevate the people who work with you or for you. In other words, people are “educated” to think like an entitled socialist who is “me” driven and doesn’t know how to create and sustain opportunities once they get a leadership position IF they get one, and don’t know what to do if one isn’t handed to them. I see it year in and year out. The people who stand out do not have college degrees and the people with degrees have no idea how to sustain or grow their business and provide better opportunities for the others around them. It’s constant chaos and fear and the success is coming from the people banding themselves together and separating themselves from the leadership and the leaders taking full responsibility for the success when they had absolutely nothing to do with it and can’t even explain it.

No, the problem is Gov got involved in what the skilled worker can keep as income. See my note above. There is no money to be self employed and really good at your craft. Better to drive a garbage truck for Gov, or postal carrier, or mosquito abatement, or air quality board. ANY GOV EMPLOYEE IS BETTER PAY, THAT A TRUELY SKILLED WORKED.

@unclejim1528 Ай бұрын
What bmlotus said, and it's not that corporations don't want to pay, it's that they don't have to pay, and that's because workers are dime a dozen in US, why? Because they shipped out work to china (less work, more people available for what's left) and now they import cheap labor, so take what corporations offer, or they'll hire illegals. Don't regulate pay, stop corrupt government. Only good trade is balanced trade, not free trade. China loved fee trade, west financed everything they built.

The important thing is that the billionaires are paying less in taxes and don’t have to pay us a living wage anymore. At least that’s what the politicians and news tells me. The planes falling out of the sky, collapsing bridges, crime infested cities aren’t an issue as long as none of it comes onto Martha’s Vineyard to bother the rich people. USA reminds me of France shortly before they cut the kings head off. “Working Americans don’t have bread? Successful business owners should always be who we elect as President. Business people know how to run the country as a business, not just a money-printing machine. If the USA were an actual business it would have had to declare bankruptcy many years ago. It’s been so poorly run for decades.

The issue is a spending problem, not a revenue problem. A few simple examples- Covid spending, how much fraud was there?, Afghanistan spending, how much cannot even be accounted for?, Ukraine spending, how much cannot be accounted for? Too many examples to list, but the problem is spending, not tax cuts.

What jobs are they qualified or desire to do then? The new immigration to this country isn’t highly specialized. Corporations going and seeking lower accepting work force is wrong and that’s the root of all issues. We must facilitate desire for Americans to want to develop their skills and have ambition. Can ambition be taught?

Show kids and parents their competition in China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Poland, Serbia, Israel, Mexico, Guatemala, etc. The kids need to strengthen their education pursuits, and then jump into the job market doing the best they can, not just a poor job that an immigrant from China will gladly do with a smile too.

The fact that companies are able to buy up large swaths of farmland and turn it into industrial housing instead of being forced to repair to hundreds of thousands (if not, millions) of abandoned structures that already have plumbing and electricity going to them is insane. Corporations are coming in and buying about 10 acres of undeveloped land and then building about 40+ ranch style homes (one story with no basement) on that land and selling them for over half a million dollars. We currently have a population decline so having more new homes isn’t the issue because the living space already exists. Besides, you can’t maintain a population anyways if you can’t feed it. You need to have sufficient amounts of undeveloped land for cattle to graze and fields of crops for food. Maybe we should be passing laws that restrict how new homes are built and how much land can be bought up. All new properties should be no less than 2 acres of land. Exempt obviously already existing properties.

For those who know our history. Inequality has been with us since the gilded age. Since the working glass/middle class was defined. So going back to the 1800 til now. Not a lot has changed. Other than the gap between the rich and the rest of us has widened. So it's always surprising or perplexing to me, why every 4 years with great alacrity we rush to vote for our political candidate. Thinking anything is going to change. When will people realize all politicians use populism to cajole the masses into getting votes. They play on human emotion to influence the 99% and it seems to work every time...smh
