Awesome, i know when you originally got to know it wasn't a actual top secret car that was quite a disappointment, but i would say that the actual story behind the car is even way more interesting, really looking forward to seeing this car far out surpass it's former glory in the future, amazing project over all

You guys should pay for a full CarVX historical package, as you can then find out the previous owners full name, registration and address and then contact him and ask him questions about the build! That’s how I found out about my BNR32’s history. It costs about $250 but you just supply them with the chassis code and they do the rest!

Great to get an almost full origin story for the car, Little sad it's not tied to a shop but to the OG owner I mean he fooled everyone into thinking it was a shop demo car so mission accomplished he built it how he wanted and hit his goals it seems.

Man, this is just like my search for the history on mine, it's painful. The only thing I haven't done is find out that it isn't actually a Top Secret car, which I still have my hopes up that it is since there's a lot of evidence in that direction. But there is _zero_ info on the original Top Secret Drag R online, only the Drag R II and TS is notoriously tight-lipped. Been really enjoying the updates on this build though, can't wait to see it finished!

I remember this r33 Gtr. Possibly the importers who brought the car in. I used to see it on parramatta road croydon/Ashfield. I forget the import yard as there were many back in the day on parramatta road inner west. 100% tho as I remember it had the Nunber plates and I used to see it parked in the front of the yard amongst all the other jdm imports. I don’t recall the name of the yard, although they were the main importers there on parramatta road back in the day. Can anyone confirm the car yard If they know ?

That yellow R32 GTR in the pic was Dom Russo’s from Autostyle. I remember driving behind it one night over at Broadway back in 2002-2003 wishing it was mine. Apparently some guy from the Phillipines paid big money for it.

I would ask for your thoughts on using am not too sure what's it called but it a laser cleans all rust and old paint off metal for using it on interior of car's ? And I would like to see if how you guys take out all the glass out of the car safely and correctly without damaging it what's the process of doing it right and what tools are Best for it and how to put it back on nice sealed up cleanly

Try a Facebook search for the owner by his name in the article or join some car related groups and ask them if they know any History of it or if anyone knows the owner . Even if you waterboarded this GTR it wouldn't give any information away its a tough cooking to crack

I remember the Top Secret R34GTR for sale in Australia for 25k and the Purple GReady R33GTR for 75k with a ton of parts worth a load more.

If you're talking about the purple GReddy car built by Advanced Imports, it's actually a GTS4 with GTR bodywork and drivetrain fitted, along with the container load of fruity bits you've already mentioned.

From a historic point of view it's a bit of a shame it's not a TS car but whatever the history we were gonna follow Motive through it anyway so history is history but the future for it is as bright as it ever would be either way so all good!

We’ve heard lots of reports of rude behaviour but also experienced nice behaviour when we had a translator there. Is what it is. We knew it was never a Top Secret car, we just wanted to know if worked on it. Also, he knows the car. It was in UK with his R34 for an event and saw it at WTAC. Acted like didn’t know it, but he did.
