Edit: To everyone asking for a mod list - I haven't really done an in depth update of my mod list for 3+ years. Some of the files in my list need to be updated to the latest version or replaced if they are no longer available. I am working on overhauling the entire list, and adding some new things that didn't exist until recently like parallax for landscapes + rocks, and real time reflections for some of the robots and other objects that you'd expect to be shiny and possibly reflect stuff, and updated textures! I will make a dedicated video going over it all once I'm done. Sorry for the issue earlier. I had to take the original version of this down after it got hit by a copyright troll - someone claiming copyright on Bethesda's music during the vault opening sequence of the game, and they certainly don't own the copyright because they aren't Bethesda or any affiliated company. Unfortunately it's easier to just cut out the portion causing the video to get flagged and re-upload than to fight them, as KZbin's system heavily favors the criminals doing this. I would have to escalate it to the point of saying that I'm ready to go to court over it. Anyway, the thing that really sucks is that I've lost 500+ views that the original video got during it's premiere, so this video will be hit hard by the algorithm. Make sure you give it a thumbs up and watch it fully so the algorithm doesn't bury it!

if you enter the command slm 14 into the console it opens the character editor so you can change your appearance. I recommend using the mod "FOV Slider and Player Height," it allows you to adjust fov values of the pipboy and first person separately in the mcm so the pipboy isnt so zoomed out.

The official Horizon modlist is now on Wabberjack! It doesn't matter if you've 'upgraded' to the Next Gen release or still on old gen, you can play with either. The only things I don't like about the modlist are; no CBBE/BodySlide/Looksmenu to customize your character and you have to dig around to find the DEF_UI HUD applications to customize the HUD.

I loved playing Fallout Horizon but it seemed like an insurmountable task to make duct tape, which was needed to upgrade literally everything.

The irony is that by the time you can make adhesive, you don't need to because you'll have plenty of it. Adhesive, Nuclear Material, and Workshop Tech levels are the early game gatekeepers. You'll find that as you explore more in larger towns you get more and more of that stuff, and by the time you're exploring boston you're swimming in it, even on Desolation.

In my early playthroughs, I always though Radstags were harmless, just fleeing, without any attacks. Until I got charged by a Glowing Legendary Radstag that one shot me... (That one next to the Rational Warehouse with the molerats.... ) I've learned to respect them and in every game I put a Radstag head (Decoration) on the wall as a grim reminder. I'm looking forward to this series! (Already finished the Fallout TV series yesterday!).

@36:55 Actually it was in the sack on top of the house with the cellar. One needs to use fallen tree to get there normally. On the subject of scrapping: the scrap station scraps everyting the script does - you just need to use it in all the modes, plus the settlement tablet (on the brigde pilar) let's you remove houses and foundations (or try to rebuild the settlement as it was). There might be few odd objects that will remain and need to be removed by hand, but you can get nice flat parcel of land. I did it in 1.9.3 In 1.9.4 some of those settlement rebuild options do not work.

I do think _scrapall_ also scraps static objects, nodes and the like, which can be a big nono. But the scrapping station gets pretty close, and is much easier on your peace of mind.

I'm only on episode 3 of the TV show. I thought it was very interesting and very well done all around. I thought it would be difficult to make the Fallout universe believable in a real world, big screen way, but they did it well.

yeah powerarmour is cool, especially the hud, but i've done it so many time, even raider roleplay and raider power armour.. so these days i just download the gas masks mod and activate the screen overlay for immersion, and cos i use dead sun weather mod, the world is just always radiated, you die very quickly if youre not wearing you mask

Yeah, though there are many stages of "end game" in PoE. The campaign can be done in as little as 3 hours if you are very fast.

With the new update tht fallout 4 is getting soon, just wondering how it will effect mods like horizon etc. I know they plan on adding more content with the enclave in the vanilla game. I’m just worried tht it will break my games progress n save files. Hopefully the creators horizon will be able to implement these changes with a simple patch or update to 1.9. Would like hear your thoughts on this subject.

My suggestion would be to set Fallout 4 to NOT automatically update from the current version until we know more. As cool as the new update will be, I'll wait until Zaw has Horizon patched for it.

To me, it looks like VATS won't melee attack because you can't quite hit the target from where it teleported you to. It waits a while then re-teleports you. Most obvious at 11:15 - the Radroach moved out of range right after VATS had teleported you. Since VATS usually teleports you to a point directly between your current location and your target's, and enemies move and stop at predictable intervals, maybe you can predict when it will "malfunction" like that. Edit: looks like you figured it out yourself lol.

You don't need locksmith or hacker perks anymore. You can just craft the breaching tools as they bypass all ranks of hacking/lockpicking from the start.

@@TheWandererPlays Yea Zaw hated the idea of having to retrack old areas for hacking/lock picking because you didn't have high enough skill to unlock the first time. The only use of getting those perks now is if you're interesting in opening up the lockboxes that you get from loot, which is arguably not worth the points, especially early on lol.

No idea what happened to this mod. - Dealing with Hunger and Thirst is one of the most tedious things I've ever had to do in a video game or any other mod. have a WHOLE ASS FARM, why can't I just throw a bunch of veggies and meat into the cauldron and get myself a basic stew, instead having to find that one specific little herb without which the meal is just not going to get cooked? Why do I have to kill literally DOZENS of GIGANTIC ANIMALS to get enough meat for a kebab/burger that restores 10 of my 100 Hunger. Why do I need all this arbitrary crap for SANITIZED water? Why do I need a damn PhD to get purified water? - Meanwhile the combat bears ZERO challenge -- you can (and I have) stumble upon a little raider camp in the wilderness, get shot a bunch of times and still get out of that situation mostly unscathed by using melee. - Meanwhile the literal main gameplay hook of Bethesda games -- kleptomaniac bum simulator -- is also de-emphasized since you get a little robot who does it all for you and you better take advantage of it because the hunger/thirst clock is ticking!!! - The whole production/settlement management BS is like a fewer dream. I wouldn't want to look in the eyes of the person who designed this, and not because I hate him but because I'm afraid what kind of empty void I'd discover. Played Horizon YEARS ago and enjoyed it back then but nowadays it resembles a chain of arbitrary restrictions and utterly moronic design decision all serving this tedious settlement management crap.

So to use your words modified I've watched hundreds of hours of other people play Fallout 4 on youtube as well as your FO series. I enjoyed the storyteller. I don't play and did not know it was something other than a First Person Shooter Game. Like Halo.I was glad to see someone finally use all of the settlement upgrades at Sanctuary and most of them at Concord. Hopefully you don't forget anything while your commenting on your play through. And your correct it's a lot of work to make edit and publish videos. I made a few... I'm watching part 4 now that came out here 13 minutes ago. I watched someone play 1.9.3 and was very happy to see a person able to get Wilson right away. Did you forget to walk up the log onto the roof in Sanctuary to get the green bag? I'm interested to see how the regular MG works out for you when you get 5.56/.223 ammo for it. Curious... You use 308 but not 7.62 which would be the M60 round...7.62x51 mm... In the real world 308 and 7.62 chamber in each other's rifle. The 308 Win is loaded to higher pressure. The 7.72 is a metric 308. Part 4 came out here 13 minutes ago gonna get on it.

My character is a bow build, zoom zoom and works really well with headhunter due to stealing souleater buff and her damage goes to infinity lol. But I got a mageblood... just dropped on the damn ground. I know what build I'm going now - making a self ignite immortal chieftain (tuna's new build) to run T17s. Ironically that build doesn't use MB either lol. So I guess I'll sell it and the headhunter, plus my bow character, and have like 300 divs to invest in a gigchad chieftain.

It's the same except that I removed anything that wasn't patched for horizon, or that was made redundant (like keep radiants in the commonwealth - no longer needed, horizon does that). If you just play with Horizon and some broad sets of texture mods like Luxors, a bunch of SavrenX textures, Valius HD 2k-4k, FlaconOil's, Langleys, NMCs, A few of Jester's packs (like the vehicle textures), and Vivid, you'll get a similar looking game. Just basically layer them so that every texture in the game is updated lol.
