That white stuff on the Urban decay lipstick isnt mold, dont worry! its just one of the ingredients in the lipstick thats "sweated" out and onto the sides. it wont hurt you at all.

I think you're right about the UD lipsticks having mould on them. I got the set of trial size ones that came out for Christmas 2014 and recently I used one of them that had that white powdery type stuff on it (silly me, I thought it'd be fine) and my lips started burning while I had it on and then my lips have been soooo dry and burning and uncomfortable ever since. I've thrown them all out as they all had the white powdery stuff on them :-(

I did declutter my mini Urban Decay lipsticks but the regular sized ones weren't bad last time! I was so mad they went bad, but I guess that's how it goes! 😭😭 I did end up adding a few to a list to try to use up in 2016, but it's not going so well. I can't believe how long it takes to use up lipstick!

I know your UD lipstick you threw out may have had mold but have you seen any of your other lipsticks with this? Or little bumps on the base of the lipstick & kind of just popping out of nowhere? I got inspired by your videos & went threw my entire collection & declutter a lot of makeup. My lipsticks didn't look like they had mold but they had these weird little bumps at the bottom of the lipstick & they started popping up all over the actual lipstick. I only had the lipsticks for a few months to 6 months. I had throw out over 20 lipsticks. Any advice on what you think it is?

Honestly, I haven't had any trouble except with my Urban Decay lipsticks! It's really strange. Do you keep your lipsticks in a cool, dark place? I used to keep some of mine near the sun and I did feel like it changed the texture of them a little! It could be condensation or jus the product reacting to the temperate?
