And as someone who just recently started watch mha, I’m even more scared, Im not even sure why, but when some stories turn into a live action, it filly enhances the plot, of the original story, but in other live actions it kinda ruins everything. THAT is EXACTLY why I don't see the MHA live action movie going well in America. The anime takes place in Japan, and knowing the idiots in Hollywood, they would say the story takes place in Texas or New York or something. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they do. That's like if they tried doing a Tokyo Ghoul live action movie setting in America. Even though the anime takes place in TOKYO! They could PROBABLY fix this problem with still having all the characters being white or whatever and still have the movie take place in Japan. IF they're smart enough to do that. BUT regardless, to be honest, and I'll keep saying this. I still think the MHA movie is still going to suck. Even with the right casting. I just personally don't believe in good anime live action adaptations. Especially from America. I don't even trust that One Piece Netflix show. Maybe with further details, it MIGHT catch my attention. But I won't hold my breathe.

Funny enough true this live action is a dumpster fire okie when you make a story and it takes place in somewhere Than the characters should be represented base on where they live. My hero story fictious with super powers but takes place in Japan so the characters need to be represented as Asian. Plus the casting is so offensive they use white people to do these characters they did them so dirty. It's like grabbing Disney Mulan story takes place in China but nah let's replace Chinese people with whites this is going to be a hell show.

Well the live action one piece was actually casted correctly since oda had stated where the crew members would actually be from in real life and netfilx casted them based off of that. As for mha this was a leak and is most likely not the official cast for live action but we will have to wait and see.

Well, they did a stage version and that was filmed as a movie. However, they were in Japanese and there are no subtitles, and it was on stage. But they were really good and are definitely worth seeing. This "live action movie" looks to be blegh

I'm going to have to disagree there really isn't a need for the characters be depicted as anything but Asian given that the majority of the characters are Asian (except for a specific few) and takes place in japan. The one piece argument is also wrong since they actually casted according to what oda had stated where the characters would have originated from if they came from the real world.

Tell the creators to stop making the characters look NON-Japanese too please Western audiences. I've never seen a black Japanese person. Yet you have Rock Lock and Mirko. Why did Rurouni kenshin's live action work and was a success having several movies? Well, because the essence of the anime/manga was respected as much as possible. With a Japanese cast and focused on Japan according to the original story. In the case of Boku no Hero Academia, I can already see the mess just like Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya. Please, leave Boku no Hero Academia alone, it doesn't need a horrible live action from people who don't respect manga or anime.
