Nintendo is likely waiting to announce anything until after the holiday buying season to increase Switch sales. If they announced in the Fall or even December, they’d kill their sales.

same here.. a bit worried about that magnetic thing.. that you dont accidentally unlatch and drop the system.. i got 2 switches.. original and oled.. got drift on both within half a year.. on the left joycon

Honestly my wish is basically just a more powerful switch, with a more fun personality. The current switch is too sterile and "corporate" feeling. it doesnt quite have the nintendo charm, at least not with the software. Just make it fun, and capable of playing more modern games and im happy! Edit: I would of course love any additional improvements and changes to make the experience better as well tho

One of the things that frustrates me about the switch is that despite having a touchscreen for the handheld that is rarely ever used to the point that it doesn’t even have a stylus which makes games with touch controls, impractical for the system, and that’s frustrating because a lot of games on the DS and 3DS should be able to have switch ports and sequels. If only they gave the touch controls more emphasis.

This should have been revealed months ago. The only two reasons I can imagine why it wasn't is because of production issues, or beefing up the launch lineup, or both. White is going to be confusing since the OLED looks identical. Super Nintendo grey would have been nice with colored buttons. Maybe we'll get something like that.

I actually blame the leakers. Nintendo was probably SUPPOSED to announce it by December, I mean it makes sense considering they'd release it on march. Pre orders could've been up too. But I FEEL Nintendo just saw the leakers and said "Nah let's make them wrong everytime"

The magnetic release buttons look like they will be right along where you hold it in handheld mode. I hope that doesn't cause inadvertent releases and subsequent cracked screens. You'd think they would have put them somewhere else. Maybe they take a decent amount of pressure to release.

I think the fact that they attach to the side instead of sliding down like the Switch 1, you shouldn't worry about it too much really. Especially if they're in deep enough that just accidentally pressing the release won't just drop the screen.

Expect, ps4 pro/ Xbox series S power with Dlss. I mean devs said they got Breath of the wild to run 4k. For sure 30fps I not expecting 4k 60.
