As a 20 year old who also has ton of chronic conditions and who can’t move out EVER because my conditions don’t have a real treatment (at least not right now) I am SO excited and happy for you. I totally get the desire to get to be a true person in your 20s and wanting to have independence and feeling like life isn’t worth it when you have such bad health sometimes. my cousin had PANDAS and was on IVIG for a while and it helped so much! I swear it was like he suddenly was back to how he was before PANDAS. i don’t want to give you any false hope or anything but his experience with IVIG was incredible. It’s been a few years now and he still does some IVIG as needed but he is so much happier and can leave the house again after not being able to for about a year

I'm kind of struggling to find the words, I can't express how much I'm happy for you Evie. I haven't known about you for a long time, but have been here since around the time of your PANDAS diagnosis. I've seen how much encephalitis impacted your life, how much you've gone through, but most importantly, how much you've fought. You've been battling so hard to get to this point, and you're finally gotten the potential for a life-changing treatment. And that is just...wow. There's no explanation for how amazing that is. I know i've commented before about how you're an inspiration to me and others. I have social anxiety so I can never express truly what I mean to say, but here goes, for real this time: You've helped me find my own strength. I've been dealing with my own battles, involving neurological conditions such as Tourette's and something that doctors refuse to treat/explore further, as well as some other personal things. But honestly, whenever I watch how much you fight, how you're so open and accepting, and how you find a way to radiate positivity even when things get dark...that honestly is powerful. You probably know this already, but it really, truly does help. I'm still fighting to be listened to, i'm still advocating for myself, but I wouldn't have found that without discovering you and your fighting spirit. And seeing that you're getting the potential for this treatment fills me with so much hope for my own future. Thank you, Evie. Really, thank you. You've helped people so much more than you know. Try not compare yourself to other people your age. I’ve followed your account on and off for the past 5 or so years. For a while I couldn’t watch your videos as I compared myself to you and felt like a failure in comparison. You have done so much to help PANDAs awareness, Tourette’s awareness, you’ve been on holiday, you have your own art shop, you go gymnastics etc. I used to watch your videos and beat myself up bc I couldn’t do what you do. I couldn’t share my illness, build such a lovely online community whilst dealing with everything and facing the criticism you have. Hearing you compare yourself to your old school friends hurt, I know how you feel as I regularly look my old school friends and feel like a failure for not being able to live independently, have a job and own a house etc. But know that so many people look up to and aspire to do what you do. So don’t bring yourself down. You are not inferior to your friends. You have survived all that you have been through. And you continue to fight for the help you deserve.

I have been following you for a long time now, I also have PANS-PANDAS. In 2018, when I was 15/16, I got a somewhat experimental version of the treatment of IVIG from Stanford Children's Hospital in California. It worked. All I want to say is that you will feel worse after each round, but you have to keep going since you will feel better at the very end. Please don't quit if things get hard, because they will. If it works for you as it worked for me, you will be able to live completely like you have ever wanted. I wish all the best for you! I hope this changes your life!
