Looks like TCG Pocket is aimed at youngest fans with these super simplistic cards. That said, I smell lots of predatory and gacha stuff happening with it because of that.

It's a minor thing, but is anyone else bothered by them using the wrong font for the attack names? Like, look at Pikachu ex's Circle Circuit attack. That's not the usual font they use for attack names, which is especially weird to me since the other fonts all look the same as on the physical cards.

@@joshuasims5421 To me it looks like the "regular" version of the font as opposed to the "condensed" version that's usually used. Not sure how that wasn't spotted by anyone working on the game since it's super obvious, but maybe it's a stylistic choice?

noted stay away from Eletric deck to flippy xD. edit. flareon your right I was thinking it was good, unless there is a way to ramp energy for fire types. I'm thinking Mewtwo 2nd attack isn't bad for 150 doesn't seem to bad in the grand scheme of things.

Full art moltres is something unseen in a physical card unless it's galarian moltres. Hope they put moltres in an up coming set. You can get zapdos and articuno from generations but for moltres i can't find anything

Im not super convinced of a haymaker format, mostly because HP is in general higher and you arent picking up as easy KOs as you were in base set. That said, I think it will still have a presence and a place as decks establish themselves. Im still eyeing paychich with Gardevoir and Mewtwo ex looking like a strong combo with good damage

How would the energy zone work for a haymaker like deck? Would it provide both lightning and fighting energy for your hitmonchans and electabuzz? Not sure how that would work

@@rell660 I agree that strict gambling laws are a good thing, but i do believe that opening up a pack of cards in a game (or any other 'lootbox') is vastly different from say an online casino. Normal tcg are allowed, so why they're allowing that but not a game variant is beyond me.

unless they do a physical reboot Pokémon like dbs fusion world with simpler card mechanics, but the art will probably make it outside the app for physical maybe.

A lot of the art is being pulled from older cards like Gardevoir, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Flareon (there's more) so we could see the standard art come out. I wouldn't expect the exs or fas unless we get some special tie in
