I've had my Fabia for 2 months now and I am absolutely loving it. It's so fun to drive. Previously had a Mitsubishi 380, so anything is an upgrade from that, however I'm obsessed with this car. I love it and I drive it every opportunity I can.

So I put my deposit on one, was delivered on time, drove it, loved it. Went to pick up only to be told that the dash was throwing a warning, should be fixed by the next day. 2 weeks later they still don’t know what exactly is wrong. Maybe it’s because they can only work on it one day a week and they keep on waiting for Skoda tech to get back to them. Yeah nah, over it. If this is a sign of what’s to come if something else goes wrong, I think I will give my money to Mazda.

I've had problems with Mazda's and other Japanese cars, they arnt the invincible bullet proof tanks that people make them out to be. They are cars at the end of the day

This Skoda shares the new VW Polo platform and the new polo has been trending in South Africa 🇿🇦 for having the same electronic/software issues. You might be playing music then suddenly the whole system shuts offs, dashboard lighting up like a Christmas tree and when you return it back to VW, they just unplug the electronics and they call you back to collect your car😂😂two days later the problem is still there.they just don’t know what to do also😂so the South African 2nd hand car market is filled with these Polos and most of them are not even over 10 000 km.

Every car on the market has gone up 8-10k. I even saw a dealership car go up 5k 😮 This car was priced higher at the dealership than what is priced on their website. They have to sell it at the website price. Double check that.

For the first 45 seconds, I thought 1980’s TV chef Peter Russell-Clark had been reborn as a KZbin presenter. The voice is different, yes. I enjoyed watching this review. Twice.

Here in Britain,you could buy a skoda superb entry model in 2014 for ,17.995 pounds in 2023 now starts at 33000 pounds, its a complete rip off,they will loose thier costumer base,the price increases are ridiculous....

I can’t wait to see its sale figures plunge after this absurd price hike. With this pricing, I may as well buy a Japanese/Korean SUV.

New gti cheapest I’ve seen in Melbourne is $45k drive away.

I test drove a mazda 3 , a honda civic and the skoda fabia, the Skoda was a lot cheaper and the most Fun to drive, so I bought it (2023 model) Ownership has been great, no problems, 42 mpg city driving, grunty motor, sports suspension that feels really good. My only complaint is I wish the Fabia had leather seats and the i-stop function could be turned off permanently. 😊

Laughable pricing for all these cars. Getting absolutely gouged in Australia.

I think you mean 'extensive' at the 2.05min mark. I think the price argument is a little weak. This price is driveaway! The competition mentioned might sound cheaper, but don't include the onroad costs. I also doubt you'd get into the mini or Audi for $38k drive away
@bartonez1232 жыл бұрын
A lot of them have driveaway deals close to the MSRP. ZR only an extra grand. When they are so much cheaper to begin with, they still come out so much cheaper. And the price of this car puts it into competition with the next size up hatches, a much larger segment with more market saturation and even more competitive pricing and feature options. Honestly he was generous with his comparisons, because if you include a wider array of similar cars the value of this car is even more questionable.
@campbellreither5502 жыл бұрын
@@bartonez123 the zaris zr hybrid on carsales is being quoted at $37000 drive away. The Skoda is a much better and bigger car.

This is a very good example of transfering the bitter outcome of an industry's mis-management to the consumers. The so called zero inventory model is the extreme way of maximising profits. When this system collapse, you pay the price.

I just ordered my Monte Carlo last week, 1.5tsi, dsg, 150ks, i will have to wait 1 year.. 26.6k€, The price jump will be this big for newest model that comes in 2023?
@electricdiesel19932 жыл бұрын
Fabia Monte Carlo becomes a typical high grade turbo sport hatch than a cheap and cheerful city hatch; comes with a carbon-fibre roof, digital instrument, climate control and 1.5 intercooled turbo but needs a twincharger made up of turbo and supercharger from Fabia RS.

My sister bought a Festiva in 1994 for $16,000. That’s $31,000 in todays money. And boy was it a tinny and gutless piece of junk!! Cars have never been cheaper!

It's rather amusing listening, watching, and reading reviews trying to justify this literally absurd price hike. Every one so far has been possible despite the elephant in the room, it's bloody hilarious. It doesn't even come with the proper full safety suite.
