A year ago I went on a trip with my dad to DC. We saw these paddle boats you could rent so we did. We went on what I didn’t know was the basin. We were paddling and then I saw the bridge. I was raised in and around Washington DC and fished the Potomac many times it is loaded with Bass , Strippers and much more , in the spring under Chain bridge the herring run thousands caught on snag hooks also I have caught many Bass, At Flecher's boat house a lot of Bass seen a 5 lb caught on first cast , great video I enjoy watching your excitement thanks for the memories.

Vic Chico ya I've been fishing right above sunrise up until the Hatchery by hazel. But you have to find the spots if your bank fishing that are real deep cause they're loving the deep cold waters right now . And I've been using deep diving jerkbaits alot witch is what I caught the stripers on. But I hear that alot of people are having luck in the Sacramento river with flat fish lures that have some type of cut bait on them . Along with big heavy spinners have been doing good.

Vic Chico ya I was actually just at gold river fishing this afternoon and had no luck at all I did see one striper trail my lure but that's all . And ya the boats and bank fisherman are starting to pop up more now that the salmon are moving in so get a good spot as early as possible and claim it . And ya that's funny you mention it I was just thinking about going to sailor bar this morning to see maybe if my luck will pick up . I really wanna get that early salmon .
