A tip for getting past the anxiety of a new notebook: Flip to the back and use the last pages for pen tests! Once you've made those first marks, the rest comes much more easily.

Sorry I commented before you finished opening the Archer and Olive box. The notebooks in the subscription boxes are all dot grid. If you order the notebook separately you can choose lined paper. The little picture on the front of the notebook’s are always on the top right side mostly. The dangles on the bookmarks is the & symbol. It’s the company symbol. The paper is high quality and so are the pens, the pens even write on black paper. I am so happy you enjoyed the box. It is an awesome subscription.

i agree with this! i'm more of an executive goth kind of guy these days and did pastel goth before i got a "grown up job" lmao, but goth looks great on everyone and it's all about finding the goth vibe that fits you best. tradgoth is sooo fun to play around with even if it doesn't end up being the every day look.

I think the colour is Teal. My ‘Going Away’ outfit was a teal plaid skirt suit. In 1975. I doubt any brides have those anymore. Love seeing you again 😊. PS The diamond pattern is Harlequin I believe.

My Aunt wore a teal going away outfit that had a little hat to match. I remember I asked my Mom why she took off her beautiful gown. She told me that the gown was uncomfortable and may get ruined. It's funny that we stopped wearing them and I forgot about them existing.

My Mum's going away outfit was teal too!!! 1987. She still has it in her wardrobe, and I used to dress up in it when I was little. This cute knee-length dress and a matching jacket with poofy 80s sleeves. My best friend had a going away dress in 2016 (purple lace) but she's the only one I've seen of my generation. ♥

Fall is the most glorious time of the year! The cozy sweaters, the throw blankets, the hot apple cider, the crisp air, the longer walks with the pup, the leaves changing colors, the beautiful sunsets, with Halloween and Thanksgiving! You just can't beat it! ❤

It is *so* much fun to see someone as excited about stationery as me! I've been wanting to see an A&O box for ages but no one I followed did unboxings of them, so it's awesome to see you do one! For the sticker anxiety - you can get notebooks full of sticker paper, so you can put the stickers in and then reuse them!! I totally recommend.

Archer & Olive are the ferrari of bullet journal dot grid notebooks, they're ridiculously expensive and very high quality. They do some of their notebooks in lined but usually you have to be quick as they sell out quickly. Was so good to see someone other than their usual influencers unbox one of their sub boxes. Great video :)

Seeing Archer & Olive show up in your video is a real “worlds colliding” moment for me 😂 The gel pens will absolutely show up on the grey paper (well, the grey one might not but the others will) - they show up on almost all paper colours. And once you get used to the dots you won’t even notice that they’re not lines and will absolutely work the same for keeping your writing straight.

Thrift stores are the best places to find good mat and frames for great prices. My son’s kindergarten “artwork” still looks good after 30yrs😱. I have even had people ask me who the artist is 😂😂😂.

I also get nervous about using stickers and stuff of the like because I want to keep them nice and forever. What I did was start a sticker book. I bought a blank journal and now I just put all the stickers onto the pages. I've themed pages or just put them together randomly. Its nice because I know they'll be safe in their little book and I can look through it at any time.
