He really is a very special puss. I spent over six months trying to win over the trust of a feral box. I captured him, and had him neutered, but he didn’t want to be ‘returned’. He eventually became a very much loved member of the family, learning to trust, and discovering chicken. He had a putt like a-lion’s roar, and the most loving disposition. His battle scars were part of his story, but ne never needed to get involved in fights again, once he learned to trust. Big Tig, you made the world a special place for us! Thank you!

@ Thank you! He was a big boy, but when we first met him he was in a rough state, and his legs weren’t very good. I don’t think that he’d ever known a loving home. Our resident puss wasn’t a fan, and I had to keep them separated with a baby gate. BT hadn’t got the strength to jump over it. Then there was the day that he did, which proved that good food and kindness was doing its magic. He ended up asa very affectionate lap cat, with a huge personality!

I wonder if at some point in his life if he was someone’s pet and just got dumped or left behind to fend for himself?? He seems to be quite gentle. Definitely not like a total feral cat 🐈 for sure. So glad he has a wonderful new loving home to live in and plenty of fresh food and water to drink lots of treats and of course a warm bed to curl up in and rest peacefully without any worries or stress anymore ❤

Such a big sweetheart. You can keep FIV pos kitties going for a long time. You just have to control all infections. It's not that they are a danger to other cats so much as other cats are a danger to them--a constant source of new infections.
