Yeah because he can afford to pay a mechanic to do so. They’re probably charging the customer $4,000 for all this. When the parts cost probably $900 combined. Mechanics are a rip off. Do the work yourself. Also that moog pitman arm has a ton of bad reviews online. Another issue paying a mechanic to do the work for you, they use the cheapest parts without checking to see if they’re good quality just to maximize their profit and a lot of times the parts go bad just days outside the warranty period. Mechanics are for lazy people afraid of a few grease stains on their cloths.

Runner seals will dry amd overall certain fluids needs to be flushed due to the breakdown (age, heat, etc) brake fluid and power steering should be flushed very 30-35,000 miles. I remember from when I lived in Detroit in the early 1970s that Detroit cars (salt sprayed roads) suffered from rust a lot more than Windsor cars (no salt spraying). You're running the same tools I have. But I also bought the milwaukee stubby and upgraded the ridgid 450 ft lb 1/2 to the 1400 ft lb

That was cool. I wanted to see how you did the front refurbish. Love the "click' on the note. That is a Florida truck as it has NO salt encrusted, rusty bolts that become willnots.

I love the way you say 'You're coming with me' to the parts you are removing 🤣😂

This must be GM truck week, I did three this week myself. Not all front ends though, haha. Nice work. Congrats on the 1/4 million subs!

I’m currently stripping the sub-frame on my XJS and I also use that Milwaukee impact gun as part of my tool kit; it is very effective at removing nuts and bolts that have been in place for thirty four years or so and in awkward positions though, a good sousing with WD goes a long way as well. It’s not cheap but worth having in your arsenal. I’m not connect to the company in any way just a satisfied customer.

Good luck with your XJS. A nicely restored one is a beautiful thing.

Just a thought - this was a viewer that came to you - I wonder how much of an increase the business has had because of your videos? I know if I wasn't across the country from you I wouldn't hesitate one second to have you working on my vehicles (but driving from Spokane WA to you for repairs seems kind of excessive). Love the material and the attention to details that you have - on both channels!

Motorhome owners are a different breed as most have MONEY so they drive from all over the U.S. to come to Nacodoches, TX to get their Foretravels worked on - not just warranty stuff but ones that are 10 or 20 years old. The advantage for them is there are RV spaces with power, water, and sewer hook up in the parking lot!
