As Season 3 is ending today, Konami made a stealth update to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel! The daily missions have been re-balanced and we are getting more gems upon completion! With new sets on the way, this is a FANTASTIC update to see!

dang I used to get 150gems per day by locking the 50gem, 50gem, 30gem missions, plus the daily 20gems. Now it's 40+40+40+20 = 140

Konami's Master Duel does not reset all nine missions, only three of nine missions per day. There is no way a players gets to collect 9 x 40 = 360 gems per day every day for a whole month. Only 3 x 40 = 120 gems per day for 28 days = 3360 gems is more representative.

It actually is a nerf to gems if u were just collecting the 2x50 and 1x30 daily

now you lost 10 gems per day not gain more gems it was 130 for this 3 quests now it's 120

Yes, but now we can complete them faster, probably. Maybe in one duel. Winning twice could be difficult sometimes.

But yeah this is better cuz we overall get more gems except if the missions reset is still only 3 random missions are given then we lose out on gems. Should have just made them 50 gems per mission instead.

@@rangxelodinamito4319 you can get high win streak very easy in plat 1 with trash tier decks winning is not big deal they always trying to make the rewards lower to force you to buy gems

It's actually hard to get the "Monsters you control attack the opponent's monsters" when all of my opponents either insta-scoop, OTK, or I end up using a nuke tactic...

I read that if you don't reddeem this reward, you garantee to receive a different daily mission.

I wouldn't say that more gems are coming. Instead more obstacles to their acquisition. Hope to be wrong but we will see.

If you take time per duel into account than it is more gems, but overall its less. Especially only getting three daily missions per day, it would be better if we got all 9 missions for the full 360, but that with the login as well as comes out to 11,400. And there is no way in hell konami is going to let that be a thing especially if 4,950 gems is the max bundle they offer at $80 at that rate its $185 in gems they could be making per month, that they end up losing. its nice to be rewarded for our time however it just looks better to players set up this way and we still don't really get a gems to time played ratio, that actually feels rewarding. granted there are other missions that add to that monthly end total but those goals increase over time and its hard to reach that amount consistently, which is what people want on a per week to per month basis. take MTG ARENA for example you can get 5,250 (not consistent) gold a week max but the packs are priced at 1k each that means about 5 packs a week, vs yugioh at the 140 daily that's about 980 a week consistent which is 9 packs a week just off of daily quest and nothing else adding to it. So even with these changes I think were in a good spot granted we don't get guaranteed wilds but a crafting system, people will be able to make decks often. with the issue being SR and UR mats still. And I think that's what needs to change more than the amount of gems being paid out. Eventually everyone will just have a stock pile if they stick with the game. But in the early stages it's a bit rough.

Definitely need to look into the time it takes to duel. I get it's an issue with it being online vs another person and decks take a while to make a move

U only get 3 missions a day so it's actually 1 third of the 10k u say u can get which is pretty bad compared to the method of collecting 155 daily which comes out to 4.4k a month

are they fixing the gems So i can actually make deck 4 or 5 and 3 more days the Duel Pass resets hey they might give us chips again Did hell freeze over or is Christmas early? either way Master Duel is starting to look a little more playabie
