It's nice how much easier this is compared to all the stereos I've upgraded in older cars over the years. Luckily with my audi and Benz and vw I'm pretty happy with them. Once you hear bang and olufsen it's hard not to want high quality audio. Course I also have a old 90s cutlass convertible that has subs in the trunk the old school way. Never been a truck guy myself I use a conversion gmc van to tow my boat which has saved me from having to mess with a tent or camper since it basically is like a camper anyhow. They certainly have made a good quality product. Hopefully the touch screen works well

Looks great. I have two questions though. I don’t see the seat heating buttons on the new dash and will my expedition rail mount still be able to be used.

Does it have RCA Pre Outs if you are using external amplifiers? I got rid of the junk JBL stuff and upgraded all the speakers to Focal and JL audio amps with a 9 inch pioneer head unit. It's fine but the bigger screen would be nice.

I love this! Can you tell me more about the quad lock & Scotty ram ball mount? Or do you already have a video for that? I would really like to do that set up in my truck. And the mic, did you mount it overhead or do I see it peaking out near the control dash?

I got one and so far I cannot give you an exact rating just yet. I’m not sure if my audio improved or gotten worse. I may need to adjust the equalizer settings but it’s hard to learn it. I hope there’s a tutorial video out there to assist in this.

Amazing video and thinking of getting this now. Can you let me know what the start up time is on this? I've seen a big issue with some of the aftermarket displays is that it takes a prolonged time before you can start using it after the vehicle starts. Also, what's the reliability been like since you done the install? Have you noticed any drops in connection with apple car play, audio issues, mic issues, or anything else that has had an impact on you while driving or going off road?

I have a different type of aftermarket screen but I pulled an empty button cover I wasn't using, drilled a hole the size of the aftermarket mic, and glued it in from the back. Looks clean.

Personal opinion, big head units like this look tacky and out of place. Like you glued an ipad to your dash. I prefer a flush look myself. To each their own though. All things considered, that is a very nice unit, just not for me.
