Christina S. I got a code from Sam's which was a $45 credit used to upgrade to the $100 Sam's Card, which gives discounts to new eye glasses and more. I also put my oldest son on the card so he can use these discounts to take care of my grandkids. I'm sure he's never thought of doing stuff like this, so I just help him along where I can help. :)

Your son in the background in the intro is cracking me up, lol. I pick up my cereal BOGO at Publix and they have the best coupon policies in my area, you can use a coupon per item with the BOGO deal and then I use the Ibotta and Fetch rewards for extra savings and points. I print out coupons all the time and they've never turned any of them away, they have digital coupons too which is really convenient.

Please just be understanding with employees if a digital coupon doesnt come off that should have. At the stores i worked for that had digital coupons it was usually an issue with the system itself not anything the employee did. There wasn’t anything we could do about it usually.

To save $ I buy a box of the Great Grain cereal and mix it with a cheaper cereal that has less fiber etc. I have this cheaper cereal because I am low income and qualify for a monthly box of food. Doing this A) adds more nutrition to the cheaper cereal B) makes the more expensive cereal go further. I only buy a box of ir now and then

i use both fetch and ibotta. fetch is my favorite since you don't have to have rebates selected before you scan the receipt but i recommend using both to get the most bang for your buck

I love making soups up and then freezing them in individual portion sizes, I bet you could make one really similar to the one you bought :)

I freeze individual portions in quart-size ziplocs. I make the soup concentrated so it takes less freezer space. Lay the bags flat to freeze, then they can stand up like books, or lay flat in the drawer.

Was at Walmart Sunday and found these 105 Oz cans of sliced 🍐 and peaches 🍑 and they were $1. So much better then a smaller of the bigger cans of the same thing. Bought 5 pears and 1 peach can. My biggest complaints with Ibotta are deals not scanning correctly, deals disappearing before they expire, and also any store I go to besides Walmart (because Walmart doesn't have a lot of the items) I have to scan the receipt (by scan I mean take a multiple pictures of the entire receipt not just the barcode like at Walmart). Then I have to scan the individual items. Due to the pandemic I don't usually take my phone in the store with me anymore because then I have to clean it off. It's often just more hassle than it's worth. I do much better shopping the circulars at my grocery store. I know it's not meant to replace that, but the time and effort is often a lot more than what I save (and this is coming from someone who is a pretty tight budget). The freebies are nice, but Walmart often doesn't have them 🤷

Yes, watch Fed Up on KZbin. I never did eat much junk, but after watching that I eliminated all grains, sugar, artificial sweeteners, and processed foods. I used to get shaky and need to snack. Those symptoms stopped immediately when I began eating LCHF. I also love watching Dr. Jason Fung and Eric Berg, D.C.
