Er ... the original has more texture , harmonies...& the intro ,that Ginger Baker claimed credit for ...Hugh's version isn't 'bollocks' - it (intentionally) doesn't have the gravitas (or overblown delivery?) that the 'best of the best' could produce... Cornwell/Stranglers & cohorts could produce 'epic' when required . Hugh was there in the late '60s ....but what's the point in returning ?
