Best Army Aviation recruitment videoclip I've ever seen. The Colonel is captivating. Expert in Flight and Fantastic Communicator. I'm a USMC Recon Marine - I demand this be banned from the internet. LOL. A True Patriot and Wonderful Ambassador to our former enemy.

Hugh Mills, one of the bravest men ever. Low level hell is a terrific read and the many lives he saved is reflected in the enormous amount of medals received. In one mission he placed himself in danger again and again, trying and succeeding in protecting American soldiers in trouble, caught in an ambush and facing overwhelming odds. Personally, I think he deserved the CMOH for his heroic actions that day. Let’s not forget his door gunner who countless times went out on the skids to throw grenades at enemy bunkers.

I have been fascinated by the men either on the ground or the ones that flew helicopters in the Vietnam war. I was born in 1966 and would not have had a clue what was happening overseas then. At the age of seventeen Paul Hardcastle, a British musician did a song called Nineteen which was about the Vietnam war and the average age of the men who were drafted or volunteered to serve their country. Of course, at that time Vietnam war movies were being released on the big screens. Since then I have read quite a few books about the Vietnam war and two of the best books I have read are Chickenhawk and Hell from above and in my opinion are two of the best books about Helicopters and the men that flew them in the Vietnam war. Robert Mason Chickenhawk and Hugh Mills Hell From Above are both, in my opinion, two of the most captivating and awe-inspiring books I have read about the Vietnam war and when you read them you feel like you flew with them. I chose these two books because they are both real accounts of two men that enlisted graduated and flew in combat and I would not hesitate to advise anyone that is either curious or has a big interest in the Vietnam war to read them. So a big thanks and a massive dose of respect to anyone that served in this historic part of American history. Also massive respect for all Veterans and current personnel that are serving in either the British or American military past or present.Thank you.

My father-in-law flew the OH-6 with the Americal Division in 1968, but they never had a minigun on the aircraft. Mostly he spotted for artillery.
