Ava is not only talented, she's smart, well educated, self taught as a film maker, always very intentional in the work she puts out, very educational, a respectful and responsible voice for the African American community, clearly hard working, dedicated and committed, highly principled, and drop dead gorgeous without trying......❤ Congratulations to our Ava for all her achievements to date. May God continue to bless her with success and joy in her personal and commercial endeavours!😊😇❤️

I love this film beyond words. I started to cry almost immediately and didn’t stop, off and on, throughout. And I kept asking, but how do humans make these choices and why do humans make these choices to treat others differently? What is it that propels people to want to dominate others? This is so counterintuitive, isn’t it? My respect for Ms. DuVernay and her art skyrocketed while watching this movie. Thank you Ava, thank you.

Best and most important film since Schindler's List, and sadly, it did not get distributed or campaigned for so few people even know about it. Please continue to put it on people's suggested films Hulu!

What I was most moved by was the love story between a white person and a black person. Which to me, since I was a child, was the entire point of addressing and evolving past our lower tendencies. As I matured, I felt/told that I had to first address the issues of race and then the limitless love would come. But I wonder if bringing up race all the time upholds the differences?? Hmm... Just thinking aloud that is why this movie is so great. Makes me think! Continued success and much love to everyone!!

Imo not talking about racism or sexism allows it to fester and continue with all the stereotypes and lies perpetuating below the surface. These ideas will never go away or change if we don't deal with these issues. Hopefully, one day we will lose these racist and sexist ideas and they will not be discussed very often, but I don't think it will happen if we don't deal with it first. It's all part of American and world history and must be overcome. Have a lovely day!

All systems are designed for white greatness. To resolved that, we as a people must find ways to fix the systems: educational, financial , and so. Systems we designed to uplift one group and suppress others. And to also acknowledging issues (racism and sexism) instead of attempting to have a person believe that all is equal os a start.

Most of the times, the only stories are told by White people who talk about other countries, cultures and religions that’s why most of us believe that caste system only exists in India 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤦🏽♀️🤷🏼♂️🤦🏻♀️. Spanish is a language not a race.
