It's mind-boggling, isn't it? Every time he makes a video, he finds something older than our country. Imagine living in a country where you can go messing around in an old dump, and routinely find 2,000 year old pottery. "Oh, ho hum. Just another piece of Roman pottery. Same ol', same ol'."

Some poor sod mudlarking 200 hundred years ago got stuck in the mud and couldn't get out, all that remains of him are his 2 legs! The moral of the story is be careful out there. Great video as always Si. All the very best for 2021.

Mary Stewart wrote a series of books about Merlin and King Arthur about 75 years ago. I loved those books. In them Merlin spoke of eating off of "fine Samian ware" while traveling in the East. NOW I know exactly what that looks like thanks to you, Simon❤

Hmmm, human leg bones looks like Tibia's and it's pretty rare to find unprotected tibia and fibula still attached . Unless they are fused together from arthritis. Usually only held together by ligament, tendon and muscle. All of which are soft tissue and decompose easily unless dried( mummified) or osseofide in position. Looks like the person was kind of tall as well. Thanks Si.

Ohhhhh my ! .I adore peacocks ❤...what a fabulous find sci ...congratulations, I think that's a once in a life time find and you need to put him/her on show in a little dome display case . A little poem for you sci ....😊😊❤❤ The peacock really is the most magnificent creature, with its blumes so bright at night amongst the moonlight his tail of iridesent feathers are a spectrum of pure delight . And when he walks so proud always with his head held high but of course he can because nature bestowed him with a beautiful crown .❤
