A classic that was played up and down in many discos back then. Striking beat, catchy chorus and extremely cool to dance to! Just timeless !!

I couldn't agree more with you Blue. I relocated to London in 1980 and stumbled upon a nightclub called 'The Flag" in Wembley. It played only electronic music and was managed by Peter Gilbert and Francis Drake who were the official photographers and promoters of John Foxx and Gary Numan. "Being Boiled" was the first track I heard in the club and I knew that I was home. Happy nights of synths and cider 🧡🖤

@@KDEADSThanks Klaus. As a seventeen year old back then, London felt very different to Congleton, Cheshire I must admit. One moment cycling along the canal to Macclesfield and the next, in the pubs and clubs of the West End. All the best as always 🧡

Thanks for listening. Interestingly, the vocal sound is actually a synth sound. It's amazing what synths can do!
