Now Viktor will never be in solitude - in whatever cosmic magic realm they went to, Jayce will always be with him. That was my favorite scene. Just soulmates intertwined by universe itself. The fact that Viktor was searching for Jayce in every timeline so he would stop him in one of them and Jayce eventually did like he promised. They started it together and ended it together. Jinx is alive - we got all the signs. She's finally taking the break. I'm glad CaitVi are happy and together and I hope Ekko and Sevika can rebuild undercity like he dreamed about. I think Black rose/Mel plotline will come up in one of the next shows about Noxus.

Something to notice about Maddie is she was *always* a spy. She's a Noxian, and always was. She's what Ambessa used to "fill the hole" that Vi left. She sabotaged the bomb.

such a crazy final act! the end of episode 8 when viktor starts the evolution and vander's memories start to disapear is so sad, especially with that haunting twenty one pilots song 'The Line' playing in the background, such an emotional moment. I love how intertwined the music and visuals are in Arcane and i'm excited to see they're releasing a music video 'The Line' soon

@@PinkCubed she is alive first when the explosion happens before that u can see a purple line for a single frame ( same as jinx super speed ) second cat see the blueprint there will be lot of ventilation in that chamber where the bomb explode ( jinx escaped through that vent ) plus ekko said before these ventilation spread throughout underground city third the last scene u can see a blimp ( powder said in first episode oneday she want to travel in that blimp ) and we can see jinx scribbles at the end of that scene means she is leaving piltover and zaun fourth i believe jinx is going to noxus ( is a region the next arcane story will be focused i think so) because we saw swain's crow (sixeye) travel along with the jinx's blimp ( maybe to cure warwick/vander i dont know)

If you listen to the soundtracks, Viktors leitmotif from the song It’s Viktor, is snuck into a lot of the Hextech songs. Plus it’s in the The Flashback, which is the song when Jayce is transported by the mage in episode one. The song writers have got screaming, crying, and throwing up 😭😭

I found the sudden death of Heimerdinger really interesting for two completely different reasons. First off, Heimerdinger (a creature with an incredibly long lifespan and warped perception of the value of life) sacrificed himself to help Ekko accomplish his goal of making it back to their worse-off reality. Despite only recently meeting him, Heimerdinger placed enough importance on Ekko to be willing to sacrifice his own life for him. That's either a testament to how important Ekko was to him or how much emphasis he began placing on human lives in general. Either way, he's a real one for that sacrifice and I loved the scene. Second, I found it really poetic that someone who has lived as long a life as Heimerdinger had such a short and sudden death. To be clear, I don't view it as a criticism; I'm pretty certain it was intentionally done by the show writers. I just don't completely grasp what the thematic significance of it was yet.

just as you know Yordles (Heimerdinger) just spawns back to bundle city (world of yordles) when they die, so they are literally immortal, one of the examples is Vex a yordle that wants to die but cant.

Probably because he's not dead and just got transported to a different timeline again. Even Viktor and Jayce are probably still alive in some way in a different pocket dimension. The ambiguity on the "deaths" of the characters is the showrunners way to keep the doors open for future shows where they can bring them back into the story. Jinx is obviously alive as well.

i think us not seeing jinx body,funeral and cait looking at the monkey bomb head at the hexgates ducts suggest that jinx is not dead but they only hinted it because jinx dying is also a nice touch that the arcane saga also ended

I actually had more anxiety about going into Act 3 for nothing more than what happened between Cait and Vi. Seeing the end of Episode 3, and then the whole Maddie issue at the start of Episode 4 affected me WAY more than I ever imagined it could. I literally spent a WEEK obsessing over it!!! Thank god for Eipsode 8!!!! And.......I CALLED IT!!! I F-ING CALLED IT!!!! Maddie and Ambessa working together!!!!

This is meant to be Jinx using shimmer to escape into an air duct Faking her own death because she knows as long as VI thinks she's alive, she'll be putting herself in harms way to find her and not being able to move on

It's fairly obvious, in retrospect, but she *is* one of the most gigachad characters in the show, so folks don't really want to believe what's coming even when they see the signs. *JINX* surrendering? Not eating food? The depression? "You don't have to worry about me anymore", the burning of possessions? Heck, Vi thought she was just leaving as well.

I think this whole act and the whole season is a bit weird. I mean it was good, but it was weird. The rebellion arc for Jinx ends abruptly, Ambessa's goal to end chaos in Piltover is just, gone(?), the Cait Vi relationship never had time to develop after Maddie, yet there's that one scene... And the whole rune thing with Jayce? Why couldn't he just give his memories and the rune to Viktor 3 episodes earlier?? What prevented him from doing what he was already supposed to do, instead of shooting a whole in machine jesus?

So from what I understood Viktor gave child jayce a different rune in every timeline and only this one it has an "happy ending" where the anomaly doesn't destroy everything, right? Then couldn't Viktor, like, not give child jayce a rune? If child jayce and his mother just froze to death there then he wouldn't invent hextech afterwards and the anomaly also wouldn't exist

The reason for that is simple, Viktor dosen't want to let Jayce die because of his own mistake (he created the Hexcore that is the issue of the whole loop) he gave different runes to check if there was a way of making hextech without ruining the world. But he realised that as long as he existed it will end badly so he sent Jayce to kill him.

Yes, that was the timeline Ekko and Heimer went to- a world where Hextech was never invented, and Jayce/Viktor both died. Viktor wasn't IN that timeline, so he couldn't influence it.

I think it's kind of a paradox though. If there's no hextech, there's no glorious evolution, but if there's no glorious evolution jayce doesn't get to invent hextech. No matter which universe or timeline, every one of them affected by Viktor is on this course

Unnecessary use of Warwick's body. Embessa has unclear and confusing goals, etc. The series is interesting and high-quality. But in fact the final is unfinished
