Delete all but most current save files and it runs. However you have to do that every time you want to play.

Got it digitally on ps5 for the free ps4 version plus dlc.. I don’t remember it crashing but haven’t played for very long either.. I’m thinking if Civ likes are your thing you really should support titles like this especially on console

Just so everyone knows, it crashes on console after a certain point. I play with two other people and the crash rotates between all of us. Corrupted my PS4. Plus the UI sucks, and there's no scale.

Current XBOX version is vanilla, which is 2 years beyond actual PC release, so it doesn't contain a lot of mechanics and features. It isn't worth it on consoles.

Mine crashes after turn 300 almost every time and I'm on Xbox series x. They haven't fixed it since release. I can't even finish my battle it dashboards me. 😞

@@marcogranados541 Yep, still crashes right when I load my save up. I think the devs have abandoned the game on console tbh. It's been months. The reviews on Xbox all say its crashing still so it's not just me. Very discouraging.

@@Hannah11876 I don't think it received any updates. I would def try it on gamepass if you can rather than buying it. But it crashes around turn 300 so it might act alright but after turn 300 it dashboards you and you can't finish your game is how it has been.
