I respect this doctor but he's wrong about vitamin D3. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer showing two tumors after the biopsy. I rejected my oncologist's recommendations to have a total prostatectomy because the tumors were "small and slow-growing." Instead I began megadosing on D3. After just two months my PSA had gone from 19 to 10.5 after 12 years of relentlessly rising. After six months the MRI showed only a 6mm "lesion". I asked my oncologist about the second tumor and after a thorough search of the images, he said there was nothing else on the scan. Vitamin D3 has been shown to reduce tumors in 17 different cancers. Yes, I think that qualifies it as a, perhaps the only, super-supplement. Studies show we do NOT get enough D3 from the sun. We are indoors too much. Plus, the sun is not always triggering D3 production. Also, with cancer, the higher your blood level of D3, the greater the benefit. However, even lifeguards in California and Florida do not have my level of vitamin D3. Several cancers do not respond as well unless your blood level is over 100. You can't get that from the sun. Beware "either/or" thinking. Embrace "both/and". I'm trying carnivore now after being a big juice advocate. Why? To see what will happen. Cuz at this stage of the game, nobody know shite for sure. The science is definitely UNSettled. We're all just playing this by ear.

@@mopaine5700 You're welcome. First, do you know your vitamin D3 level? Just FYI. If you need to get your D3 to a good level (which if you have cancer is over 100) I would recommend you dose yourself with 2.5mg/day for two weeks, then take it down to 1.25mg/day for six months. Then take 0.25mg/day for maintenance. And get your levels checked when your doctor checks everything else. Or pay for it yourself if you're not seeing a doctor regularly. Add a K2 supplement with the D3 if you're worried about Hypercalcemia, a very, very rare side effect of mega-dosing (2.5mg) on vitamin D3 for months, which I'm not advocating. I don't consider 1.25mg/day to be a mega-dose. That's the protocol I followed to eliminate one of my prostate cancer tumors and shrink the other one. Also my calcium is still normal after seven months. And I take a calcium supplement. Conversion: 2.5mg = 100,000iu 1.25mg = 50,000iu 0.25mg = 10,000iu The International Units are ridiculously exaggerated. Why? I don't know. But some say it's to scare people so they don't take the necessary amount. But I don't believe that because I'm not a conspiracy nut. My world is filled with rainbow unicorns and wish-granting fairies and pharmaceutical companies only want to help people! Good luck. Vitamin D3 is fascinating.

This enough enough for me to still have healthy levels in the winter when I am not getting any sun. That's a bit reductionistic though...🌺 I mostly agree ofc but people can be so metabolically damaged that they can be very helped by supplements. Have you really studied Vitamin D, and meditated on it? I got a download in 2018 that the entire Vitamin D thing was a scam. What I realized is that Vitamin D is an immune hormone which is issued in response to an attack on the body. Solar radiation is extremely harmful to the body. DNA is directly damaged by the Gamma Rays and UV rays from the sun, and our body races to protect us from the damage, calling on Vitamin D, which is an immune regulating hormone (not a vitamin). Going into the sun to protect against Viruses doesn't make any sense. The body will protect against viruses using the other 11 or more immune processes, like Killer Cells or Macrophages, or White Blood Cells, or any number of mechanisms. Vitamin D3 is only one aspect of the immune system. We live in the Inverted Matrix, and everything is the "opposite" of what we are told.
@Ritalie2 жыл бұрын
You are right that there is a need for supplements in extreme cases. You make good points. I have been taking Magnesium Sulphate for the purpose of detoxing. Although if you are eating the proper diet, he is right that you can attain enough nutrition over time, by animal foods. But there are supplements that help in recovering certain problems caused by long term abuse of the body. Having Vitamin C on hand, Ascorbic Acid, can aid in removing certain toxins, temporarily, because it can accelerate the metabolism of certain compounds by 10 times or more. It's good to at least own some basic minerals and supplements. Even salt is critically important, if you are super dehydrated from sweating, you can actually die if you don't eat salt. Humans are a genetically designed species, and our sweat glands release minerals, as well as water. When we sweat, we are rapidly depleted of critical electrolytes. If you only drink plain water, you'll soon reach a state of having heart palpitations, or outright loss of consciousness, if you don't eat any salt to replace the sodium lost in sweat. My mom worked in a hospital, and saw a man who had a severe heart attack from just sweating, and he was a young male athlete.
@Ritalie2 жыл бұрын
Would you mind posting your protocol for detoxing Oxalates? That's very interesting. I've studied all of Elliot Overton and Sally Norton's work on Oxalates, and at this point, many plants should actually be legally required to carry a warning label. But because we live in the "Inverted Matrix" the spinach and almonds at the store are sold without any warning label. I've since discovered by reading studies, that all parasites and gut dysbiosis comes from eating raw plants, as raw plants are heavily contaminated with parasites. The lack of a warning label about "cooking" the produce, is a crime of epic proportions. In studies, some packages of lettuce at the store, including "triple washed" actually contain H-Pylori, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and in extreme cases, celery and watercress can contain Liver Fluke larvae. Liver fluke larvae from raw celery can lead to terminal illness. The man recommending raw unheated "Celery Juice" daily, is putting people at very high risk from deadly pathogens.
@cammieklund2 жыл бұрын
@@Ritalie Omg, haven't heard about the liver fluke in raw celeryjuice. 😮 I was desperate enough to follow Anthony William, aka the Medical Medium for about a year and ate and drank a horrific amount of oxalates daily. I need to Google that about the liver fluke. I have a friend that still follows him that believes in everything he says even if her skin on her hands are shedding off bcs of oxalate toxicity...😿 I don't know exactly regarding vit D. I know that when I started to supplement in the winter times I didn't get sick as often. I was having so much issues with colds and flus before that, so it really felt like it helped. I must say that I do look a bit younger than most women my age (50) that have been in the sun all the time, so I do believe that the sun is ageing aswell. But I also think there's benefits to sunlight ofc. I love Sally K Norton and Elliot Overton!❤ I don't follow any specific protocol other than a low oxalate diet plus the citrates. I am going to buy the ingredients to her mineral bath (Epsom salt, potassium bicarbonate, sea salt for ex) and AOR B vit complex plus benfothiamine when I can afford it bcs I think that that would help me as I am severly oxalate toxic...

I was dizzy and fainting, my thyroid was all over the place, my period would be gone for months at a time. I was gaining weight, losing my hair, joint pain, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, brain fog. When I started taking mega doses of B1 at the direction of Mary Ruddick and other supplements she prescribed I started to feel better. My hair is growing back and my endo is gradually getting better. When I go too long without taking B1 specifically I get into a state of lactic acid build up and I can't function. My Magnesium is so low that my bones hurt. I have to take Magnesium and do foot soaks and the catch is because my B1 is so low I can't tolerate Magnesium supplements. They give me sharp stabbing pain in my feet and hands. Im pretty sure I have neuropathy. I have to combine Magnesium and potassium ( i take 1/4 of a teaspoon of cream of tartar for potassium) and salt so I can increase my Magnesium and B1 levels otherwise I just work myself into a deeper whole of deficiency because increasing one nutrient can deplete others you are already low in. Dr. Please tell me that you eat your animal raw or mostly raw. Please. It only makes sense to me. Reasons for: It is sweet. No greasiness!, PRETTY BEAUTIFUL COLORS, very gentle flavors, tender textures. No gas, after taste, after effects. Please let me know what your experience has been. Thanks

I am usually with you but when I hear doctors knock supplements and recommend a "balanced" diet I know that usually comes from dogma not fact. Every doctor who says you don't need supplements should track everything they eat for a month in a diet program -- one that calculates all common nutrients -- and then see just how well they meet or miss the recommendations. I have been tracking all that I eat for several hears (cronometer, which admittedly has shortcomings.) But what I know is it is extremely difficult to get all the nutriments one should have from diet alone. Track your diet for a month and post the results, show us how well you meet, miss or exceed standardized amounts.

I live in finland and we dont get enough sunlight at all, half of the year there is basically zero sunlight and too cold to be outside without lots of clothes.... You have to supplement vitamin D here. Unless you are super human and can be almost naked in -5°C to -35°C whole day. 😃 Good luck to get enough sunlight in 3 months when you have work, school and such.

Vitamin D is stored in the fat, in both humans and animals, therefore you should eat fat from animals ,who are outside all day. Makes sence right? Wild animals are best. Reindeer is also a good option

Id be interested to know how I can get 400mg of magnesium daily from animal products alone. 28mg in 100grams of pork. So Id have to eat 1.5kg of pork a day to reach that target. The best option that Ive found is caviar with 300mg per 100gms but Id rather not spend my entire wage on caviar a week just to get something I can get from a supplement for $50 a month

I added a little honey and fruit and all my carb cravings came flying back! What's up with this?????
@aspiresk8boarding2 жыл бұрын
The metabolism will shift a lot reintroducing carbs. With Low carb diets u maintain blood sugar through stress hormones instead of exogenous glucose source. When glycogen stores are replenished in the liver and muscles cravings will stop. Having regular meals, especially breakfast, that contain carbs protein and fat will balance blood sugar and keep those metabolism slowing stress hormones in balance and increase thyroid and other youth hormones

There was a man who had a gut problem, he could not digest food properly and became near anorexic, then he started taking a B vitamin and was able to digest food again then he gained weight and health. Some humans do need man made medicines, they can be a miracle.

That's why he sells his supplements.. he's talking about synthetic I think or plant base .... removing nutrients from the ground they have to put synthetic back in but I guess it works bcz people were being born without brain and spinal....until they put women on them synthetic prenatal vitamins

So the guy who makes the supplements doesn't actually use them. That's a twist. A failed opportunity to prove the product efficacy albeit with an N of 1.. Not a confidence building endorsement.
@ChrisTietjen_002 жыл бұрын
@Nom de Plume He said he doesn't take any supplements. So I said he's wasting an opportunity to demonstrate their efficacy by using them on himself. He could stop eating the actual organs for a couple of months and replace them in his own diet with the desiccated organs. A true opportunity for a confidence building endorsement. But he's not really a scientist, is he?

'He shares that healthy NAD levels are obtained by living a healthy life, rather than taking NR and NMN.' - This is actually a provably false statement - what are 'healthy' NAD levels by age, there is no definition of this in the context of anti aging. This does not apply to folks aged 90 for example or for people with restricted or cumbersome access to healthy environments which is a huge portion.

Vitamins are made by machines in a lab, and for some reason many of them are molecularly incompatible with the body. The body has receptors designed for animal vitamins, not plant vitamins, and not machine made variants which are similar, but not the same. Joel Wallach makes so much sense, and appears to be a genius. But he seems to have completely missed the point that plants do not contain biovailable minerals, and Humans have a carnivorous Canine digestive system, not a fermentation hindgut Caecum digestive system like Rabbits or Apes. Our plant digesting Caecum was "coded off" by geneticists many millennia ago.

Who else tried meat and fruit and it didn’t work at all for them??? I see only “success stories”…. Well here’s a reason it didn’t work for me … 2 LBS of meat and a LB of fruit per day is just way to stressful on the liver. Fructose is hard on the liver, high fat meats can be stressful on the liver in large quantities. Meats the most nutritious meal in the world , so I eat either Venison, Or steak with either organic potatoes or organic rice and maybe a half of avocado … remember there are a million different diets that work for you, and don’t work for you… if it’s not working, if it doesn’t make you feel amazing , switch it up.

Sorry but blanket statements you are making in this vid do more harm than good. I realize you are trying to help but everyone's situation is different, the climates where people live differ from each other, the food sources where people live differ from each other. You are no different than those who push a strictly plant diet for everyone or a strictly meat diet for everyone... so just stop!
