This story is told wrong, based on the movie. The ship they found was NOT Prometheus. David shooting off the flare gun did NOT scare off other aliens (as if to say there where many among the open field). Glad I finally saw the movie after seeing this posted recap video. Which by the way was decent at best.

I understand that aliens is Ridley Scott's baby. What he says goes. I'm just dissapointed in the direction he took the lore. And I chose not to follow. My attraction to the xenomorph was that it was a lovecraftian horror. Meaning it represented a non-moral uncaring universe that is beyong huiman understanding. Now Scott says that they were engineered (understood) by an android who was himself engineered (understood) by humanity. Its like what happened with the Borg. They start out truly terrifying, but then hollywood turned them into a joke. Have fun with the lore, Mr. Scott. But I'm not watching these movies anymore.

There was supposed to be a third movie. There was also supposed to be a movie where the aliens go to earth and do their bug thing. I'm reading the current alien comic and it's delightful. It has a group of synths called Steel Team who are elite combat synthetics that got screwed by the United Systems govt and now they just chill on some other planet being a "family" and hating humans. The Major Colonel comes and tells them "Just One Last One Final mission and the U,S will grant full citizen ship to any synth that wants it. They go to Tobler 9 where aliens had run amok a while back so they nuked it and they find countless aliens but also find a group of humans living in the irradiated wasteland. There's so much potential in this series. I can't imagine humans existing a few billion yrs ago. I get that the Engineers are more adcanvced than us, but biologically, they're not far removed from us. But to travel the cosmos and survive for BILLIONS of years? We are lightyears from that type of species. We're closer to chimps than we are to giants that can fly giant city-sized spacecraft

Minor error in title. In this context you need to use "Emmigrate" rather than "Immigrate" due to the position of the speaker and direction of migration. Humans would need to leave earth to go to outer space, and hence they would need to emmigrate (leave one's own location in order to settle permanently in another location) to outer space.
