The k20 head flows more than a k24 head by a lot. But, when running a high power application like this(1100+whp) when the heads are ported, the k20 head is more fragile . The k24 head has more ‘meat’ than the k20

Pubgmobile1320 the k24a2 head has more air flow a lot of the guys making big horse power use this head

The k24a2 head is one of the worst flowing heads from the factory. After porting it wakes the motor up. At these power levels, a ported K20A2 head can crack due thin ports in certain sections. The TSX head has more meat and is substantially stronger for 1200-1300hp engines, after porting it goes from a dud to a monster. We’ll be bolting on a 4Piston Pro TSX head and showing the difference shortly.
