"cool running" good job. as a hover craft owner down under, it needs a Little trimming out. take 2 -3 degrees out (lower the angle) of your multi wing (fan blades) so it will ride higher. and when you get the balance down pat, hop in turn it on in the trailer and step back as giving some revs and it will reverse out. that is awesome feeling especially when other are watching, seeing you go in reverse stuns people. keep up the flying and have fun.

WOW, this sure brought back some memories. I was a Scat Dealer in San Diego, CA in 1987. For the 4th of July that year, we had 3 Scats flying on Mission Bay! Great Idea, but very tough to sell. We even offered a flight school for prospective buyers. Had to buy 4 to be a dealer. We eventually sold all 4, but it took a while. Great fun to fly though!

Not bad guys - I have been driving Hovercraft for 30 years now (I know hard to believe!) I have only driven a SCAT 1 time and the problem isn't 30 HP as my current craft does an Honest 50MPH with a little over 30HP. It was the fact that it is an integrated duct (lift and thrust in such a small package) Bigger thrust props are much more efficient and why you see racing craft often have a separate lift system. I need to put up more videos of my craft in action, but it is so hard to get good footage with me being a sole cameraman/pilot. Peace

One other thing to keep in mind when you're running through the parking lot. When a hovercraft is on hard ground that air cushion can throw dust and grit all over the place. The other guys around the lot with all those shiney boats can get hostile in a hurry if their paint jobs start showing rock chips.
