Great tip on fuel pump and brake lines deteriorating. My brake lines got replaced.

Installed the 2 new knock sensors, H2 is fixed!!!! No more bogging at 25 and 45mph no more bogging up hills, no more misfires.Over last 6 months, new u joints, new air filter, cleaned throttle body, cleaned MAF, new spark plugs,new fuel pump, new cats and exhaust. Did all that myself!! Crazy mate, H2 has so much power, flying up hills, Idle dropped by about 300RPM, new gaskets deff sealed things up, fel pro. Sounded even louder just when turning it over now. The hardest was tracking down the parasitic battery drain. The u joints were the worst, they were so rusted and stuck. Couldnt have gotten this far with out you homie. Put in new mirrors and upgraded all lights to led. This H2 is lit! Almost 200K miles and its driving like it just came off the showroom floor. If there are any vids I can make for you let me know!

Great job on the knock sensors! And you've done so much, you should be very proud of yourself, well done! Curious to know what was causing the parasitic drain?

@@hummerfixes Two things, battery terminal needed cleaned. Causing erratic drain like upwards 4 volts would go up and down and the ac outlets beneath radio were drawing hard Its down to .5 now

Thank you, this is one of the best troubleshooting videos I've ever seen. I'm still in the process of discovering what my problem is, but I saw a video from Red Dog Media where he had a fuel problem, and he replaced a LOT of components, only to find out it was the FP relay, and it wasn't making a good connection, so he twisted the relay terminals slightly. He also mentions the paper clip trick, across the relay terminals, which I may try... I mean... ANYTHING to avoid removing the tank! I'd like to see a flowchart for troubleshooting this... crank/no crank, check fuel pressure at the rail; pressure/no pressure; check regulator, check relay and fuses, etc.... also, I have a Suburban that had a similar problem, about the same year, and same 6.0L engine, it turned out to be a ground from the tank, to behind the drivers wheel, that looked great, but when I took it off and cleaned it, the fuel problem went away. Anyways, thank you very much, check out my Hummer on my channel!
