Ruiner 2000 - this is probably the best counter, but the most expensive one. It has one of the best tracking missiles which are unavoidable 95% of the time. You do not want to use regular Ruiner, you want to start CEO work "Fully Loaded". In this mission you get extremely buffed Ruiner for 20 minutes. It has Insurgent armor, infinite missiles and cannot be locked on at all. Mk2 will never destroy you, and will never avoid any of your missiles, unless it has chaff and is performing a hit'n'run tactics. Chernobog. Probably second best counter. Yeah, I see itn coming - it has no armor oneone! You do not need armor in this big monster as it has double the range than MK2 (1000m vs 445m), its missiles have the best tracking in game (even better than Deluxo\Vigilante\Ruiner 2k), missiles can shoot through buildings and hills when your target is more than 445 meters away (kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYbGgXuPndZnl7s). Stromberg - good armor (can withstand 5 homming missiles), same tracking missiles as mk2, lesser range though. A good Stromberg driver can freely fight most of the MK2 users. You can hide in the water so they can't lock on to you. Savage - this beat has glitched hitbox since game release. It causes most of the missiles fly underneath him. Start gaining altitude and spam the cannon \ missiles. You won't be hit when ascending, however when descending or maintaining an altitude may cause you to be rocketed. Another Oppressor MK2 with chaff. Most of the MK2 users have flares so you have no problem defeating them. Hunter with co-pilot - take the altitude and let your co-pilot wreck him. Hunter can gain altitude faster than MK2. You need chaff of course. Be on foot and use explosive sniper \ heavy sniper \ minigun. IPUC (Insurgent Pick-Up Custom), Halftrack - these have extremely long range guns and massive armor. You need a friend though. Deluxo \ Vigilante \ Scramjet - these are weak, you may kill MK2's but will surely die as well. Any jet - all of these are too fast to be hit by MK2. However you may have hard time killing them as well.

Yea I dont know why mk2 users even use flares since you can bypass them by spamming missles(and my friend took care of a mk2 griefer who used flares using his mk2 with chaff and he was able to wipe the floor with him.) and sadly the savage got its hitbox raised(I dont know if it was intentional or if the low hitbox was a glitch but even if it was there are so many vehicles that are glitched that aren't even fixed like how you can still be shot out with the insurgent and technical even with the heavy armor upgrade,the heavy armor on the weaponized tampa doesnt work,the volital doesnt beep when its being locked on to, and you cant be shot out of the half track even with base windows.

1) the savage hitbox is "fixed" 2) you never mentioned the nightshark it has the same armour as the halftrack (26 homing) and is faster 3) going directly above the mk2 with a heli (savage or hunter, even the valkerie with a Friend if that's all you got) and swinging up and down and facing vertically. Edit: setting up a chuernobog in an open area (slanted areas such as hills work better) and waiting for the mk2s to get into the death zone (your tracking missiles). Also the chearnobog can shot through buildings if they are far enough as the do not register.

Just got my akula and won my first two pvp vs oppressor mk2 users lmao, i wasn’t even that good at flying with akula at the time and after watching one of your how to use a helicopter video i gotten a little bit better, i have a oppressor mk2 but i dont like that it only carries 20 missiles, it is hard to gain altitude like a jet or helicopter and its hard to avoid certain homing missiles. Maybe im not the best oppressor mk2 user but I really dont have a desire for that. I been loving tf outta akula 🚁❤️

Would you not consider the V-65 Molotok as a viable counter for the MKII? Spam able rockets combined with counter measures and ability to dodge the MKII rockets at any altitude plus the ability to air brake and attack directly from above on the Oppressor. Smigol has some videos out where he wears them out in a Molotok. Just curious your thoughts?

Slow down as most as possible before shooting the target. You can also use the big map. If they're in a vehicle use the missile to see precisely where is it. A bit of train should be necessary to master ground targeting

Another good way is the night shark with NO armor plating on the windows and stock up on C4 and proximity mines. The night shark will take 27 missiles and the broomsticks don’t have enough to fully kill you. While driving you can throw your sticky bomb super fucking far or even take them to a tunnel around the map like the one you will escape in for the casino heist or a parking garage or any enclosed space. It’ll make it easier for you to toss a C4 sandwich at them or throw down a proximity mine and they have no brain so they follow you right over the mine. Once there dead just go repair it and get ready for round 2.

The Lazer doesnt necessarily need to do circles, you can also go into a knife flight as if you were about to do circles and from there on fly right for 4-5 seconds, then left, if you learn and practice this you will manage to outrun the range of the Mk2 sometimes

i don't use the starling for this role. instead, i use the molotok as it is as slow, if not slower in a dive than the starling, and doesn't need constant attention to the engine. it is also in the top 3 fatest top speed fighters in the game, meaning it can catch up to the mk2 oppressor long before the starling.
