My dear ones, I am glad that even today I can present you a recipe that I love. Very often, I prepare a pate, namely, HUMMUS. My kids love to eat "something" on bread at almost every meal. My boy always asks me: “Mommy, don't you have something to put on the bread? That you know I can't eat without that SOMETHING ”. This is how over time I learned to make SOMETHING that is both delicious and healthy and that looks good at the same time. Ingredients:
Hummus (classic recipe):
250 grams (8.8oz) boiled chickpeas
3-4 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon of sesame paste (tahini)
2 cloves of garlic
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon of thyme
Hummus with roasted peppers:
250 grams (8.8oz) boiled chickpeas
2 baked peppers
1 clove of garlic
juice of 1/2 lemon
3-4 tablespoon olive oil
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon of the smoked paprika
Hummus with olives:
250 grams (8.8oz) of boiled chickpeas
4 tablespoon olive paste
3-4 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove of garlic
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
