Humpback Whales Breaching, Risso’s Dolphin, & Blue Whales Viewed Whale Watching in Newport Beach CA

On Tuesday, June 28th our sister company Newport Coastal Adventure spotted a mom and baby Humpback Whale pair, who breached again and again next to our small zodiac boat. We also spotted a cow-calf Blue Whale pair on Newport Coastal and one BIG Blue Whale on yesterday’s 5:30pm trip with Capt. Larry on the Catallac. We also saw plenty of Common Dolphin and a pod of Risso’s dolphin too! That's great news for us since it means our Summertime Whale Watching season might be heating up! 🔥🔥🔥
Our zodiac boats have the BEST opportunity for Blue Whale sightings right now, since they go faster, and farther than our large boats during their 2hr whale watching tours. But, any day now, we may start to see Blue Whales & Humpback Whales more coastal, within range of our large boats. keep an eye on our whale counts, as we've been seeing Fin Whales, Dolphin and so much more aboard all our ships with the nice Summer weather we've been having!
Our whale watching & dolphin tours depart daily in Southern California all year long. We offer multiple whale-watching boat styles including larger passenger vessels, catamarans, and smaller 6-15 passenger zodiac tours. We are well known for our Pacific Gray Whale Migration from December to May, but actually, see whales year-round! Throughout the year we can see also see humpback whales, blue whales, fin whales, minke whales, bryde's whales, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, risso's dolphins and more!
