I loved this video. So much that I'm going to share it on FB. You inspired me to get out of my sticks and bricks rental and into a Class C and I've been living in her for just over a year now. I'm not living as you do though, yet. No generator, no solar and no inverter. I've been reliant on shore power and this has to stop. I'm leaving New England again soon and this time, I'm crossing the great USA to head back to the desert southwest where I used to live. I don't know if I'll ever drive my rig back east, though all my family are in MO and east of there. This video shows me how interesting MO can be and I thank you for that. I wasn't thrilled that I was going to be driving through MO to get to CO and then head south, but now I can see something to look forward to, even in that. Thanks, Eric. I mean it. You have been someone who has motivated me to change my life. Go for a dream, while I still can. "Miss Adventure" has a double meaning and I chose it for that reason. Life is like a box of chocolates. OH ! And that RV park idea near Uranus is one that could really work. That's no joke. God bless you and Jax. (I hate the heat too. Lord knows how much.) You found some real gems in this trip.

In regards to your question about the, "Trail of Tears". I got this information from the History Channel web site. At the beginning of the 1830s, nearly 125,000 Native Americans lived on millions of acres of land in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and Florida-land their ancestors had occupied and cultivated for generations. By the end of the decade, very few natives remained anywhere in the southeastern United States. Working on behalf of white settlers who wanted to grow cotton on the Indians’ land, the federal government forced them to leave their homelands and walk thousands of miles to a specially designated “Indian territory” across the Mississippi River. This difficult and sometimes deadly journey is known as the Trail of Tears.

The Trail of Tears is the route that the Cherokee people were forced to march from Georgia and North Carolina mountains to Oklahoma so the white man could steal their gold and land. Very sad and cruel time in our history.

Doing genealogy, I noticed the migration of white families from more coastal areas and in more northerly states to the "newly opened" Indian lands. There were land lotteries for the new fertile and level farmland.

Barb southerngal * Hi Barb from the Wolf Lady from Livingston Parish, La. But now I have been living in Ca. for 30 years now. But I did raised wolf's there for some years. I was living my bliss there , albeit in poverty. I came here to California for spiritual enlightenment, and found it. Why am I ranting? Anyway I loved the woods and the Gulf coast. And the lakes. Hope your doing those kinds of things since we're not traveling like Eric. Thanks Eric for the videos.

Hey Eric, I can sympathize with not liking the heat, I'm the same way. I've lived in MI most of my life and my suggestion is that you go through WI, into the Upper Peninsula of MI, and bomb around the Lake Superior shore line for the summer and start heading south when the Leaves are turning. Go south through the Lower Peninsula of MI and hug the Lake Michigan Shoreline. As you go south the colors turn and you can stay in the Fall Color season for an extended period of time. Autumn in the U.P. is phenomenal and with all the waterfalls and rock formations, the colors are very intense. If you get near Traverse City MI, and you want to meet up, I'd love to say hello.

I haven't been, but if you get the chance to be in Memphis, check out the Bass Pro there. They took over the Pyramid downtown (Was the NBA team arena) and converted it to a store. yes Eric you have been working hard, sometimes you need a little rest. After you and Jax get rested you will be back on your game, that's why most people work 5 days and 2 days off. That's time to recharge. Rest well and stay safe and God Bless

I don't understand the negative comments on here- If you don't like his channel, stop watching it.. makes no sense why you'd troll his site. anyway, as usual, a great video, Eric! , keep up the good work and stay rested and cool and enjoy yourself! you definitely deserve it!

I'd suggest going up to the UP by way of Wisconsin and back down through Michigan along the lake. Both routes have much to see and both have a lot of interesting sites to visit. Have a safe journey.

Hi Jax! Eric - I think Cabela's & Bass Pro Shop just ask that you Register with them before closing for overnight parking. they also have a free dump station - can't remember if they have water. great video!

Hi Eric! The husband and I watch you regularly and enjoy your adventures with Jax. We appreciate all the work you put into the videos and are very impressed by how much your shooting skills have developed. We envy your life in a lot of ways (we love to travel) and appreciate your obvious love for Jax. We just watched your most recent video and I wondered if you have ever considered doing historical research on areas before you visit them? I was surprised and disheartened by the fact that the Trail of Tears was something you are unfamiliar with you. I know we, personally, would love a little bit more info (historic, geographical, whatever) about the locations you visit. Something to just consider... All the absolute best to you and Jax!
