@@skeltonslay8er781 you should save up for Humvee you could buy one from them right there and while you're there they'll probably ask you if you want it upgraded or something like that. I am extremely interested in buying a Humvee from them I would like for them to upgrade it. All I need it to save some money right now I only have $100.

Edit: Apparently dan has ghosted me when following up on getting additional repairs covered by Plan B after I had gotten the vehicle home with under 1700 miles on it. It took two trips a couple days each , up to Utah from Texas to pick-up my Duramax conversion. Several issues were identified with the build, and they were addressed, but it took them SEVERAL attempts to get things right. If you guys at Plan B are ready to resume talks about covering the additional repairs, and ill consider taking down this comment. Additional repairs to shift linkage and electrical system were required, aside from the additional grinding I had to personally perform on my brake calipers since no shops locally wanted to perform the repair due to safety concerns. I've been patient with waiting on a response.

What is that blue top at 1:55? That doesn't look like your standard wagon-back hard top (like at 1:51). The blue one looks like it adds 6+ inches of head room!

What's the advantage a duramax have over a hemi or cummins?
@commonmockery10745 жыл бұрын
You've already shown that you do Duramax conversions, but would you be willing to do a Cummins conversion? And would you still be able to do an Allison transmission with it?
@jthetunes15 жыл бұрын
They definitely do Cummins swaps. There's a more in-depth video they have and they talk about the benefits of each (Duramax vs Cummins). He talked about the Cummins being mostly an all mechanical engine which I think is really cool.

Street use is ok, but the minute you take all of that torque off-road or rock crawling expect to snap something. There’s a reason why they are slow in stock form

Probably more then an h1, that's if you add the cost of the vehicle as well.

I heard it's a bit difficult due to the sheer width of the vehicle and how far away the driver is from the transmission

@Tobias6116 жыл бұрын
same MPG for triple the HP and most likely more torque? You could probably swap for an engine with 150 hp and same torque numbers but better MPG, it's all about the configuration
@AllThingsRamdom6 жыл бұрын
@@devingarrison5265 that's actually a pretty good improvement. When you get 8 to 10 on average with a stock configuration doing the conversion it's now at about double the fuel mileage and I would say that's a significant improvement. Not only are you getting nearly double the fuel mileage you're also getting about three times the power.

I would rather own any other vehicle in the world than a humvee. Been fixing them for years. Yeah, it's pretty simple, but how often shit breaks on them it's astonishing. Everything from water pumps, to mechanical fuel pumps, to fuel injector pumps... nope, fuck that shit, i'm done with them.
