@@dondoodat Which is funny because they used to. The American's salute used to be the same, the "Roman Salute", before they changed it to the hand on heart before WW2. There are a few pictures of American children in their classrooms standing at attention during their *_daily Pledge of Alliegiace_* (Yes, seriously) giving this exact salute. And people wonder why the US could fall so easily to authoritarianism.
