Juan Perón explicitly stated that Justicialism was designed to replicate and surpass fascism. Then there's Ba'athism, where Michel Aflaq and Sami al-Jundi took direct inspiration from Italian fascism and German national socialism. Even today, the S.S.N.P in Syria and Lebanon have 100,000 members. Might as well throw Hezbollah in the mix too as they meet the criteria, Jamahiriya Libya wasn't far away either.

I lived in Germany in the late 70s and saw very little of this, the only thing that left me speechless was that, while touring Osnabruck with the Grandfather of the family I worked for, I asked how old the lovely buildings were, to which he replied "they're new, You bombed us flat" I was horrified but in retrospect, he shouldn't have been making a kid feel blame for WW2, I was just there to look after their horses and wasn't even born when they were bombed. Also my own mothers family had to relocate 3 times in the war due to being bombed in Aberdeen Scotland. However, to get back to the point, I never saw any inclination of far right sympathies in my own peer group in Germany. They were horrified by the War and what had happened, or at least that's what they said. Who can really know others?

I am a German. My family migrated from Hungary in the 70s. Germany used to be a very liberal country. I had black friends, turkish friends, gays, women and so on. The election of a female chancellor was a huge achievement for Feminism. But this is not about conspiracy theories or Nazi ideology. That's just an easy tool to control a frustrated mass of people. And sadly so called "woke" people are unable to explain and understand why others are frustrated. Insulting and blaming one another isn't helping anybody and only makes it worse. What opened my eyes was an event which happened last year. There was a natural disaster in Ahrtal, Germany and many people died in a flood or lost their houses. And the reaction of the government was to do nothing. People are waiting for financial aid and no one was send there to help rebuild the towns. And that is sad. In my mind if someone asks for help, we need to help them. And it didn't happen. And at the same time we have a government which goes an extra mile to help refugees. And that's an issue, because you can't help one group of people and ignore the other and then expect those people to agree with you. You can't. You can't when you mistreat women, you can't when you mistreat black people and now people demand the same for Germans. Many people in this wonderful country agree to support those in need, but they get very angry when you forget about them. And I can understand. I don't know where you live right now, but in Germany we pay 30-50% taxes. And for this we expect the government to work properly. But they don't. The infrastructure is rotten. The media is biased. Our healthcare system is about to collapse. Many services like post office or public transport are sold to private companies who don't care for quality, but only profit. The government itself doesn't work anymore. Everyday people are losing their faith in this system. And not because we now have a turkish minister, but because people don't know how to pay their electrical bills and the only answer of politics is literally to wear a jacket to not to freeze. And then you have a lot of social issues. People feel like their voices aren't heard. And this is a real problem because we are all human beings, no matter the race, sex or political views, and we all expect to be heard. But we are not. If we are critical of the status quo, we are cancelled. There are certain topics which had negative consequences for a lot of people and instead of openly talking about it and trying to find a way for everyone, people are opressed to freely express their point of view. And so for me it's no suprise that radicalism is rising. Because when we create serious, life-threatening problems for humans and ignore their critic, they are going to search for somebody who listens to them.

@@bakist5540 as somebody who asked the same question, here is the answer I got (if some Germans are here and can clarify further, they are welcome): they don't necessarily support the second Reich (German empire) or its values, but they use it as a "callback" to the other German flag that used red white and black. So much so that you can see in the video at 0:17 a German empire flag, with the third Reich eagle sitting over a swastika (even though the swastika has been removed and an iron cross sits in its place), and I'm quite sure that it was never used officially by the German empire. So TLDR, they use it as a reference to the banned German flag (because yes, you can get arrested for waving it in Germany)

These aren't far right people, they're moderate right wingers, who aren't afraid of their historical past. They do NOT want to become or BE Nazis, but want to remember their past better, and regain some of their banned glory and pride, mainly the Prussian and Imperial glory and pride. If Germany's politicians and large parties was less radical and hateful towards all opposition to their power, this wouldn't be happening. Also, he was told to apply for architectural studies because his talent revolved around buildings. It is widely believed he would have been successful there and it's his fault for not reapplying, not Vienna or any school.
