It's their home leave them alone. They were here before California was a state and before there was a USA and way before that too. I love all animals and I love Marine Life. I have seen the Elephant Seals not far from San Simeon twice and it's an awesome sight to see with the Moms and their babies.🦭🦭🦭🐬🐬🐬🐋🐋🐋🐳🐳🐳❤❤

Monterey has always been a favorite stop over for Sea Lion migration. This just happens to be the year for invasions of two legged & no legged creatures. They can be very destructive to moored boats, actually saw 2 males sink a sail boat while fighting for deck space years ago, lol.

Every year we go thru the same on South Beach in Mijami. Very large, uncontrollable, loud and scary animals overrun our beaches. It’s very dangerous for beach goers. But they don’t close the beaches. They add more police presence. We call it Urban Weekend.
