my dog almost killed my mom like this. if he would turned the knob a few millimeters in either direction he would have either flooded the house with silent killing gas or lit the gas killing him and my mom in a massive explosion. she was sleeping. luckily, the grease in a pan started smoking and woke my mom up. she was maybe 1min from death.
