If you are sitting still or moving slowly then yes but if you have to move quickly then NV is best. I ride my bike in the black of night with no problems. I like the setup with both

What made you go with these dual RH 25’s instead of the dual RL 25’s? Is it just the fact the RH 25’s are 640 over the 384 RL 25’s. I want to run a dual set up like this but not sure i need 640 res.

What he didn't tell you is he's using a separate thermal scope to take his shots, so he's using 3 thermal devices total. He's using dual irays to scan but a separate thermal scope to shoot with, so the actual shots are not being taken with the rh 25s. If you didn't have this third unit, you'd have to take one of the rh 25s off the helmet and weapon mount it before you shoot, which takes time and you'd probably be making noise and you'd have to change modes to weapon mounting instead of hand held mode. By that time the hogs might be in Canada. Wish I had that kind of cheddar though...

Love your videos, brother. You helped me solve my POF Revolution over-gas issue which required a combo of mods to get that little bastard cycling properly. She's good now though. So thank you. Anyway, I have a quick question for you. I currently have an N-Vision Halo X50 for my thermal scope, and I use my DTNVS with L3 (24UA aviation spec) high gain tubes for scanning. The scope and nods are truly top of the line, but the nods come up really short in the PID department. I definitely need a helmet mounted thermal unit. I'de rather just get a dedicated unit instead of the "fusion" (ECOTI) for the bino's. Trying to decide between the ML19, MH25, and RH25. What do you think I should do given that you've run both dual MH25's and RH25's now? I would go with the RH25 hands down (highest performing unit for sure), but idk if it's overkill given that I'm already running an $8,500 thermal scope with the N-Vision and $13K (all-in with Ops-Core Carbon helmet, Wilcox G24 mount, external battery, etc.) L3 nods with a FP PEQ. Let me know your opinion. Means a lot coming from you.

I’ve often heard folks say that traditional wisdom is to use thermal for spotting but then we need night vision for moving about (due to perceived weakness in thermal being able to see terrain). I have seen some RH25 footage where it looks like it’s providing plenty enough detail for moving about. Could you please share your thoughts based on having used both night vision and the RH25.

You can’t run them at the same time, you gotta go back and forth. Some folks claim they can do it, but it’ll give you a migraine and mess with your depth perception

Did Iray USA come up with a software fix for the slow rolling shutter that produces image shift when scanning quickly? The original software update they provided bricked a bunch of units including 2 of mine (see my profile for a video of that issue). Most of the guys who bridged 2 RH25s were pretty upset about the image shift making them nauseous and making navigation very uncomfortable. Also, for anyone running a Dual RH25 setup or bridged with NV… the clip-on margin adjustments translate over to helmet mode and can be used as a means to collimate/align the images if you are seeing doubles (or not a perfect box with both eyes).

I have never run dual thermals but I run pvs14 wp and rl19 iray mini and works perfectly for me as we do a lot of walking not riding in mountains. Utilize 14 to navigate and flip thermal down to scan and locate, I don’t run them both together as my eyes cannot process the overlay.

You don’t need all that, the normal thermal hunter can’t afford this but when you work for iray you can 🙄 I run iray ml19 helmet mount with pvs14 eyepiece and iray rl25 and works perfectly! 384 sensor 12 micron equipped thermals will do anything 300 yards and in with no problem.The new mh25v2 will have audio and video and larger display which in my opinion should shine over these older units that are heavier and and don’t include the new functions. JMO.

@@TxKiller Nothing wrong with your helmet setup just saying 99.9% people that hunt in the thermal can’t afford it you need to include other affordable options. Nothing wrong with older iray products as they are affordable and work great and for the v2 version will be a definite improvement. I started purchasing iray products from watching your vids and will be using them from now on.Whether you work for Iray or not it’s obvious you don’t show any support for any other good thermal options out there. I have both iray and pulsar and have never been let down by either one.
