Thank you This type is suitable for controlling an electrical valve in my own way There are two wires for the process of disconnecting and connecting, and this is excellent, but I noticed a third wire. Excuse me, what is it and what is its function?🌹

hmmmmm... most microswitches , like the one they are using inside, have 3 terminals a common, one Normally Open and one Normally closed ...so you can just move a wire from N.O to N.C as needed.... I am thinking /hoping that's the entire difference in the two models.... if not very strange.

It could very well be a microswitch inside. It is factory set & sealed and is not programmable by the user in the field. Likely because 99% of modern irrigation controllers have normally closed output terminals. There were a few models back 20yrs ago that we normally open, but not any longer.

Hi @davidmerkrebs9967 - I'd like to confirm with you that you have this exact model rain sensor. The reason that I ask, is because this model (Normally Open) is not very common. Can you please confirm which model you have.
